(Nicholas) Does your character trust people right off the bat or does it take them some time to warm up to someone?

Nicholas is very open and inviting to people right up front and immediately. He’s good at reading people by their body language and attitude, so he engages them in conversation and is very polite and inviting to get to know people. After that, he’ll either learn whether he wants to trust you or not, by how you act and how much he comes to like you.

(Crio) If your character was allowed to murder one person without any consequences, who would that person be and why? 

Crio is a healer, so... Killing is not something she takes lightly. And in all cases she will likely avoid killing someone if she can, subduing, rather than harming. But... If there was one person she could have chosen to put to death, it may have been the one who started the war that was all she’s ever known in her life. Let that bloodthirsty Lordling be put to death and have never ruined the land she was born to.

(Kay) What position does your character sleep in? 

Kay sleeps on his side--facing the room--or on his back. Though when he’s in healing sleep, he’ll likely position himself until he isn’t hurting so much. He sleeps facing the room on instinct. Anyone that enters is likely to have a knife at their throat or a gun against their chest before he’s even realized he’s standing. Those people will be lucky if they survive the encounter.

(Morgan) Your character has been granted 3 wishes; what would they wish for and why? 

Lil’Morgan is still smol and has a heart of gold. His wishes would have to be something he’d think about for a looooong time. Maybe.. wish for his mother to be happier, and find some peace, because she was so unhappy when he was small, and he wants her to be better. Second, he’s wish that he could travel and not be afraid of everything, because he’s afraid of a lot of things and a lot of people, and traveling would be better without that.And last--IF there was a Genie involved--he’s wish the Genie free, because he deserves to be free! If not, then he’s wish for the chance to thank whoever it was the saved him from death when he lost his eye. Because he really did almost die, and whoever saved him deserves to be thanked properly! 

(Nightshade) Are they afraid of death? Do they have any regrets?

Nightshade didn’t understand what it was to life or to die for a long time in its life. It took a long time for it to come to understand what it means to live and to be a living thing, and to understand that death is the final sleep, the one you don’t wake form. I would say Nightshade isn’t afraid of it’s own death, but is fearful of the death of others and being left alone. As for regrets... It has lived his life to the fullest and best. Its best wasn’t always good in nature, perhaps, but still.... It does regret having hurt Nicholas as it did when it was full of malice and hatred. It wished it hadn’t done so much to some who became his friend after all they went through together.

the vent post in particular that this is a response to (that I’ve since deleted) was from a bad night mental health-wise. I was tired, and cranky, and over all feeling down on myself for other reasons unrelated to my blogs. this is the sort of thing I try to tell myself when I need it, but hearing it from someone else is helpful too. so thank you sweetheart, I really appreciate it. <3

"Ladon is de Ladon!" He squeaks, always a little odd about how he referred to himself. The mention of food possibilities overjoys the child even more so, and he has suddenly begun his steady progress of climbing up the chef with total ignorance to the concept of personal space. His voice pipes up again, and his yellow eyes seem to bulge. "Ladon will help wid de tummy filling! Ladon will cook! Cook wid Ladon!"

     Ladon’s attempt to climb onto him surprises a joyous laugh out of the chef, who simply scoops the boy up and allows him to sit on a muscled forearm. To hold him like this reminds Jerry of the days when Lenalee was still much younger, which brings another warm smile to his lips; it is only slightly dimmed by how utterly light the kid seems to be. 

     “My, aren’t you a darling? But perhaps we should fill your tummy first, mm? A good cook needs to be strong and healthy!”

@thefourthwallflower Her pencil scratching against paper, the soothing sound carrying throughout her apartment's spotlessly painted walls. Not another stirred within the corridors or rooms, only the pounding of water droplets from her kitchen faucet adding to any sort of din. Her open textbook bore paragraph after paragraph of black inked lines, detailing number figures, graphs, diagrams, and explanations on housing sales and when to close a deal. Several other books were resting in a tall stack on her desk, the open window by her bedside a few feet away fluttering the curtains with a slight draft. Before her eyes, the notice laying on a Manila folder stared blankly in return, colored by her neat, curving handwriting. As she paused to put forth another line, she heard a thump rock her hardwood floors behind her back and beyond the doorway. Instantly she froze, motionless as her eyes darted and her ears became delicately acute. "What is that?" She murmured to herself, slowly rising to her feet to turn her torso, peering in the direction of the sudden intrusive sound.

Walking up to the man with the same glee and excitement as he did with everything, really, Ladon reached up with his four fingered, webbed hands, and tugged at Jerry's coat. "Are you an Akuma?" Poor Jerry. He asks everyone this. It's important, he thinks.

     Upon looking for the source of the tug to his uniform, Jerry found himself blinking down in surprise at the small, frog-like child before him. He had heard of him, of course, had seen him around as well, but the boy had never walked up to him before, so he had never gotten the chance to meet him. Gracing him with a kind smile, the cook leaned down to study him closely, an air of bubbly warmth about him. “Oh my, who do we have here? ♥

     “Don’t you worry your precious little head, darlin’, I’m no akuma! I’m Jerry, I’m responsible for filling everyone’s tummies here! And who might you be, little man?”

Her mouth opened to stretch and give a wide yawn as she lazily strolled down the thinly populated street. With one hand in her tracksuit pants, the other twirling a navy blue gimp mask with the likeness of a zombie’s rotting gums and teeth where its mouth should be, she paid no heed to the dripping streams of crimson blood splattered on its face. Her eyes instead faced straight ahead, vacant as she yawned yet again. Her stomach complained with an intrusive grumble to break a self imposed, bored silence. Stopping in place, she cringed, her shoulders sagging as her lips turned up to a frown, then a tooth gnashing scowl, a sharp frustrated growl revving from within her throat. In the same moment, she sent a hard fist slamming into the side of a building wall, denting it as large cracks fanned out in gaping fissures. Lifting her head toward the sky, she whined aloud, 

“Where the hell is the food around here?! I ain’t seen a dive or joint or even a fuckin stand in forever!”

As she gave out another angry grunt with her nostrils flaring, the sound of several loud, demandingly snappy voices crashed into her ears, breaking her tantrum. Turning her head, she peeked in the direction of a seemingly deserted alley. Stalking further inward, she heard the calls grow in volume, their aggression piercing the air like knives, a thickly heated arguement. A slight, childlike smirk appeared on her lips to spread into a mad, fang bearing grin. She zipped on her mask, blood trails and all, and continued forward.
