Nᴏᴛ rolling his eyes is one of the hardest things he’d ever had to do as he looked up at Wally. To be fair, it wasn’t every day that someone’s younger, shorter best friend slipped their arm around their wast and tried to tug them closer.
In his defense, Dick was fifteen and he had grown quite a bit in the last two years. He’d surpass Wally soon and he tried not to grin at the thought. Relax, he said through the mind link M’gann had established before Dick and Wally entered the market.

Dick moved so that he was in front of Wally, hands on his hips. He leaned up, grinning softly as he pressed his forehead to Wally’s. “C’mon,” he said, which only caused the redhead to raise his brows.
"C’mon where?” Wally asked, sounding a little unsure. Dick pulled a hand from Wally’s hips to find Wally’s hand. Taking the other’s hand, he moved it to the small of his own back.
"You’re not really good at this couple stuff.”
“W-we’re not a couple.”
"We could be.”
"What?"
"—Don’t freak out."
"Dick what are you—-?"
He leaned in, closing the short distance between their lips with a soft kiss, closing his eyes. He was aware of the thug who had been following them pass by. He was also very aware of Wally’s hold on him tightening and pulling him closer. He tried to fight off a grin as he slid a hand up to the side of Wally’s neck, pulling him in to deepen the kiss. When he pulled back, his forehead pressed against Wally’s.
"That was--- uh---" Wally licked his lips. "---So is this what you do with the rest of the team on partnered missions like this?" Wally asked, a little breathless, thumbing circles into the small of Dick’s back.
"Only the ones I like," he replied with a grin, glancing off towards where the thug had gone off. He leaned in to peck Wally’s lips again before he pulled away. His hand moved down Wally’s arm until he found his hand and he began moving through the crowd.
