More than 25 years after they barred it all for the first time in The Full Monty, the boys, or rather middle-aged men from Sheffield, are back for an encore. Robert Carlyle, Mark Addy, Hugo Spear, Will Snape, Steve Huison, and Tom Wilkinson will all be reprising their roles from the original blockbuster comedy in a new TV series for Hulu (or Star via Disney+ for viewers outside of the US). Costing around $3.5 million to make, The Full Monty grossed more than $250 million worldwide and became one of the most profitable British movies of all time. Released back in 1997, The Full Monty told the heartwarming story of a group of former steelworkers in Sheffield finding an inventive way to make some money after theyve been made redundant.
