58!
Okay that made me bursting into laughter! This is coming from my AU again, sorry, but it’s too cute not to write.
58: “My clothes look good on you.”
Drabble Prompt Still Accepting!
After a short, but very awkward breakfast, Yugi and the Pharaoh were now back in the bedroom. Yugi closed the door behind him and looked at the man in front of him. “Okay.” His voice shook and he couldn’t stop staring…
“Can you stop staring at me like that?” The Pharaoh noticed. “You looked at me that way the entire time we were eating.”
“I’m sorry.” A nervous laugh escaped. “It’s just, so weird, I can’t see, through you.”
The Pharaoh let out a sigh. “Yes, I know. I noticed that too.” He looked at his hands. “I just wish I knew why or how.”
Yugi walked over to his closet, as he undid his buttons on his pajamas. “You sure you don’t remember anything?” He removed his shirt, opening the closet, and pulling out some clothes.
“Just I opened a door and then I was woken up by you.” He responded as he shook his head.
“That’s so strange.”
“Haven’t we been through stranger?” The Pharaoh now sat at Yugi’s desk, his arms folded over his chest.
Yugi nodded as he slid a pair of jeans on. “Yeah, you got a point there.” He hummed and threw his shirt on, struggling to get it past his hair for a moment. Just as he got it on, he noticed the Pharaoh shaking his head, a smile on his face. “What’s funny?”
Looking at Yugi, the Pharaoh couldn’t help but let out a small chuckle. “You.”
Yugi blinked, twice. “What’d I do?”
“You got dressed in front of me, yet you acted like it was nothing.”
Waving his hand in the air, Yugi responded. “It was nothing. I’m used you to you around.” Then he noticed the second elephant in the room(the first being the spirit not being a spirit anymore). “But um, it’s your turn.” He pointed at the blue PJs that the Pharaoh was wearing.
Looking down, noticing he was in fact, not dressed to go out. “Uhm, yeah. I guess so.” The Pharaoh stood up.
“Do you know how to-”
“Yes I know how to get dressed.” The Pharaoh responded with a harsher tone then he meant.
Yugi flinched. “Sorry.”
The Pharaoh sighed and walked over to Yugi, giving him a soft smile. “No, I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to sound so harsh.” He looked into the the closet and shook his head. “I’m so used to wearing your school uniform and you already claimed the only other outfit I’ve worn.” He looked to Yugi, who was wearing the usual dark pants and black tank top.
“Sorry, but anything in there is yours to try on.”
The Pharaoh nodded and turned back to the closet, giving it a confused look. Yugi’s style was nice, he didn’t have bad taste, but it wasn’t something he thought he’d be wearing all the time. “Uhm, well I guess something simple.”
Yugi watched as the Pharaoh tried on a couple shirts, two different types of pants, one that was slightly too short for him, the other too tight. He couldn’t help but smile as the Pharaoh struggled to find some clothes to wear.
“I think we’ll need to go shopping today.” He pointed out as the Pharaoh looked in the mirror for the hundredth time.
“Let’s not worry about that right now.” The Pharaoh replied as he buckled the choker. He turned to face Yugi, wearing a crimson red t-shirt and dark jeans. “What do you think?” He gave a shy smile, hoping that it worked.
Yugi looked him up and down a couple times, trying to take in the sight of the Pharaoh in clothes that were new for him. “After watching you try on three different outfits, I just got to say something.”
“What?”
“Though my style isn’t for you, I think my clothes look good on you!” He burst into laughter as the Pharaoh gave him a flustered look.
