Non credo di esagerare se dico che erano anni che non mi piaceva così tanto un disco. O almeno non così in profondità: oltre il folle e banale amore per questo tipo di suoni, quel che mi attira e mi consola di questa manciata di pezzi è l’umanità che c’è dietro. Sono canzoni che ad essere sincera non dicono niente di me e della mia vita che è così diversa da quella di questi tre adolescenti australiani. Conosco l’amore, non vivo una rottura con un partner almeno da dieci anni, sono una persona felice e soddisfatta, non ho nessuno dei loro problemi e anzi mi sono dimenticata persino che forma abbiano. Ma nonostante questo, quando ascolto queste canzoni l’unica cosa che vorrei fare è urlarle come inni, saltando abbracciata a loro tre. Penso che sia un buon segno.
