Movie night with Mason was supposed to be chill — until you got too comfy..

pairing: mason thames × reader

genre: fluff, humour, comfort

warnings: none :P

You and Mason were cuddled up on the couch, watching a movie together.

Falling into his touch was just too comforting — so much that you weren’t even focusing on the movie anymore.

“Hey, Mason,” you said with a soft giggle, tilting your head up to look at him.

“Hey, pretty,” he smiled, eyes filled with warmth.

“I love you sooo much,” you chuckled, sounding a little drunk even though you definitely weren’t.

“Yeah? What’s up, princess? You okay?” he asked, amused and a little curious.

“Mmhm… nothinn,” you mumbled, snuggling closer to his chest, your eyelids growing heavier by the second.

He laughed quietly, glancing back at the screen, his arm still wrapped around you.

And then it hit you.

You were trying to fight the sleeping demons but failed miserably and fell asleep.

Mason noticed almost immediately. A soft smile appeared on his face as he looked down at you, wondering how he got so lucky..what he ever did to deserve you.

An hour later, the movie ended.

He turned down the volume and looked over at your sleeping face, brushing a few strands of hair from your forehead.

“Hey, baby, wake up. Let’s sleep in the room,” he said gently, giving your shoulder a light shake.

“mmhmmm… 6 7 more minutes pleaseee,” you mumbled sleepily.

He laughed. “Alright, dude, not funny. C’mon, get up.”

Suddenly, you sat up with newfound energy. “No, you’re right! Let’s go, Mason!”

You stood up faster than lightning — like there was no tomorrow — and instantly felt dizzy.

“Whoa, whoa, whoa! Slow down, silly, you almost fell,” Mason said quickly, catching you before you could hit the floor, laughing softly.

“Sorryyy… forgot. Low iron,” you mumbled, half-asleep and leaning into him.

He chuckled, shaking his head fondly before scooping you up and carrying you to your shared room.

You both snuggled under the blankets, wrapped in each other’s warmth, and drifted off peacefully for the night.

Both have had a friend in the past that they lost. Both have had kids go missing in their town. Both have brown eyes. Both have had a girl they were close with go looking for them after their disappearance. Both were trapped in a basement. Yeah.

ik my inbox is backed up to all hell, but I'd figured I'd make it known I take requests for tbp and actively wanna write for them so badly rn lmfao💀. like, I have so many little thoughts and ideas - even after all this time - so I'm sure y'all do, too, right😭?
