Is it fun to watch? 25% <- carried by Castor

Plot Summary: Castor and Aphmau want to rescue Laurance but discover that the nether portal has been broken, possibly by a disruption on the other side. They then travel to Phoenix Drop and successfully unlock Sasha's book. It details how she became a shadow knight and we learn some Neat Things about what that transformation does to your brain.

Sasha was turned after she died trying to rescue her own lord, Joh, from the nether after he'd been abducted by a shadow knight named Gene

she woke up from death Very Angry. Gene woke her and said she'd been abandoned by her allies, but she could come back to life if she swore allegiance to the Shadow King and killed her old lord. can't believe Fantasy High: Junior Year was inspired by MCD

Castor refutes this version of events! he said that Sasha was pulled into the lava by Gene, and that as she died she yelled that they should save themselves and that she loved them

interestingly, the journal ends with Sasha apologizing to Kenmur and saying she loves him. so she's not Completely gone

Castor is meant to be nuts but he's actually so real and i like him more than Aphmau

MCD Rewatch S1 Ep40: Grim Decision

Do you need to watch this? 50% i'm sure it'll get retconned and summarized later

Is it fun to watch? 30% and only because of Castor

Plot Summary: Laurance and Aphmau rush to the nether to rescue Castor. The Shadow Lord attacks them during their escape, and Laurance stays behind in the fortress to buy Aphmau and Castor time to run.

Laurance and Aphmau think Castor got sent into the nether so the Shadow Lord can take his magic like he took Lord Burt's

the nether side of the portal has been decorated with glowstone and symbols and a sign invoking the protection of a Lunar Goddess, looks like werewolves have done some work here

the shadow knights in the fortress are Weak

Aphmau stage whispering to caged Castor while Shadow Lord is 5 feet away

Shadow Lord attacks and does 0 damage

Castor creates a barrier so all can run

Laurance tells Castor and Aphmau to run because "it's not going well" motherfucker you killed all the knights without dropping to even half health and the Shadow Lord has to break through a wall to get to you but Whatever

Castor is amusing in this one. He has 1 bit and its that he gives zero fucks about anyone or anything other than his chickens

MCD Rewatch S1 Ep39: Made of Honor

Do you need to watch this? 15%? i truly don't know it has sidequest energy but also the nether and Sasha are here

Is it fun to watch? 8% its inoffensive

Plot Summary: Donna and Logan announce their engagement and Aphmau becomes their maid of honor/wedding planner. Shortly after she cruises over to Meteli to get Castor the Chicken Shaman to unlock Sasha's journal, only to discover that the chickens have been slaughtered and the remaining few have been taken to the nether by Sasha as hostages. Castor is already gone in pursuit of them, and Aphmau makes plans to use the portal in Brightport to follow him.

Personal Notes:

holy shit! basement has slightly expanded to have a wooden floors section with double chests

Levin's room has an iron door and is slightly expanded

Aphmau half rebuilt the top part of her house using fences and fairy lights, somehow it looks better than it did before it got exploded

Dale having an alcoholism relapse

Logan and Donna engaged

inviting Aphmau to be her maid of honor says a lot about Donna's social life

the way Aphmau clearly doesn't like Donna nd Logan but tries to hide it

Hayden and Kenmur's fights are getting worse

Plot Summary: Aphmau chit chats and does poor repairs to one of the 3x3 houses. Also she says shes going to go to Meteli to help Cadenza and see if Castor can unlock Sasha's magically sealed journal.
