He spoke of Hope. And He had a vision of Light... Of a day when men are proud of their names and their faith. Of a day when smiling is not a crime. Of a day when blood is not cheap... and life is honored. And of a day when God is just around the corner, baking bread! And is as "Kind, Compassionate and Merciful" as a child would know Him to be. The man with a chocolate robe planted the seeds of hope, justice and courage in our hearts. He planted Sparkles of Light , then said: believe! And know that you are free to think, so Think! because your thoughts Matter! If you think that there is unjust and something is not right.. Then speak up, loud and clear! Because your voice is powerful and it must be heard! The future is bright and freedom is near. Some believed him and Many misunderstood him! When I was younger... I met the man with a chocolate robe. He spoke of Hope and had a vision of Light. And he said our voices were powerful... And I believed him. Since then...many voices were silenced, dreams shattered and lives put on hold. But since then... Where will the green movement take place?

WHERE - There are two "where's" that we want to address .. 1) "Where" as in, what cities & states can join this movement? Any and everywhere! We're not limiting the boundaries of expansion. Whoever follows us and wants to grow, we're all for it. From Detroit, to Atlanta, to Florida, New York, the UK, everywhere! 2) "Where" as in, where does this urge start? The urge to engage in this movement/process starts from within. It starts nowhere else but within the soul person who wants to grow. Growth cannot be forced on you. It's something that you have to crave. You have to have a desire for growth. Never ignore your soul. When it's ready to expand and set free, listen to it .. - Detroit Che. HOW - “How will the green movement affect people?” We ask ourselves that everyday .. Will it affect them positively or negatively? Our upcoming mix tape is weird because it gives you positive vibes, although the topics I discussed were some of my darkest moments. I’m happy now though! I’m actually applying my life to music and not applying music to life. There’s a huge difference. Before Keys and I started working on this project, I would listen to beats first, then try to find the words to fit the melodies. But for this tape, I’ve been able to find the words first, then sit down with Keys and form melodies. It’s a different feeling now because I don’t feel like I’m forcing anything. I allowed my soul to speak for itself, because sometimes my mind tells me to not be so emotional, but my soul wants to be. I can’t ignore my soul. No one should ignore their soul. If it wants to be heard, listen to it, put it out there for the next soul to connect with. Sometimes in life, we’re forced to be someone or do something because of the expectations of others. Which I felt like I was experiencing after releasing my mix tape, “NOAH” in 2014. I felt pressured, as if “everything that I drop after "NOAH” had to be a banger. I had to snap.“ But throughout this growing process, I’ve realized that I have to live up to my own expectations. Who would I be living for someone else, but encouraging my people to live for themselves? I would be lying. I don’t want to lie. We’ve been lied to for decades, but the lying stops here. I’m going to be honest with myself and my music despite the lies that other people and artists comply to. Nothing in life should be forced. You have to feel it. Just like I had to live before I applied my life to music. Not saying that my music was fake before, but it definitely wasn’t what it is now. It was who I was back then and that was good for me at the moment, but I had to expand, personally and artistically. Keys and I honestly can’t wait for you guys to hear our new work! It’s refreshing. I’m pretty nervous though, but you’re not growing or expanding if you’re not uncomfortable. I never would’ve imagined making the music that I’ve been creating, but I’m definitely doing it. Just like you probably never imagine the day that you’ll blossom, but you definitely will! This project is going to be epic. It’s something great. We’re not trying to rush anything, because you can’t rush something that you want to last. And this music is timeless. It’s based on emotion and not current events. The topics that I discussed on the tape are emotional events that everyone goes through. "Celebrity” or not, we all have emotions. And that’s what I’m here to show people with our new music. Che cries just like you. Che hurts just like you. Che sees things about herself that she needs to fix just like you. And if there’s nothing that I share with my people, one thing that I do share with them is a soul. This tape is full of it. I plan to show you guys each and every emotion that I’ve experienced throughout the past year of my life. I finally feel free. It’s the best feeling that I’ve ever felt, and I can’t do nothing but thank The Lord for this amazing feeling!

WHEN - “When should people start participating with the green movement?” Whenever you’re ready. No process should ever be rushed. When trying to rush your growth, it defeats the beauty of the process. Rushing also conflicts with seeing your full potential. In other words, you could never half ass a process and expect full results. It doesn’t work like that. But when joining this movement, you must prepare yourself to see yourself at your worst. You must prepare yourself to cry as much as you’re prepared to smile. You must prepare yourself to not be able to sleep at night. You must prepare for the worst, but never lose sight of seeing yourself at your best. Growth is one hell of a process. So whenever you’re ready to experience the beauty and the ugly with growth, you have made your first step.
