Another thing that makes me miss Baba so much.. is the memory of him preparing us fruit plates! He would peel and slice and arrange fruits on plates every afternoon. He would make us sit on the silk carpet with him, then he would talk about his day at work with mommy.. while feeding us fruits. we would tell him about our day at school, while he would laugh at our shinanigans and slip apple slices in Mommy's mouth! 😌 He surely knew how to create good memories ❤️
He was Philippines Top Commercial Photographer extraordinaire and had mastered the art Talent photography, Architectural photography, advertising and commercial photography. John K. Chua, helped bring to life the Philippines Tourism industry by his Many Vivid art works including "Philippines: The Beautiful". He was all that and he was so many other things... but to me, he was a new-found friend, a life teacher and an inspiration .. for I saw how he cherrished every little moments of life and never gave up on it. He spoke of Harvey and his family with such sparkle in his eyes , showed me his works with such passion deeply rooted in his soul and mentioned his plans of his next projects with such fire in his heart.. he would provoke you to be as passionate about life, work and relationships. My heart stopped for a moment when I saw you gone last night John, and I'm still dealing with the heartache ... but you looked at Peace! Such Peace! With Harvey and Kathy by your side, surrounded by all the people you loved and who loved you.. I know you are in a good place now. We will Miss you John. Thank you for all the lessons. I have so many pictures of a dozen varieties of roses in multiColor! He would grow flowers and plants in places you'd not imagine! He wouldn't give up taking care of them until there were Roses and Berries in most barren of places! I could tell he loved every single bunch of flowers, every single pistachio bud, every single wild-Berry he grew... By the shine in his tired eyes when softly touching them while watering his little garden in an industrial yard! I could tell by the smile on his face! How peaceful he looked! How peaceful... Despite all the pain! I miss you Baba... I miss you every single minute of the Day... And I wonder if I will ever Heal ! (at Tehran, Iran)
