When #screamsloudandrunsfast the 1st (Alyssa) came into our life on 12-12-12 the two of them fell in love instantly the first time she got aware of him and answered his cry for attention. Jonesy was a small kitten with the greatest heart of them all. Special needs as he was substantial smaller than the others and he was born with one eye. It is called Micropthalmia and makes one (or more?) eye not to proper develope. It did not bother him at all that he looked a bit different, he was our precious little Ginger boy. He never knew but he he was special. He always knew when elementary school was out and he sat here in front of our house waiting for the kids to walk by; talking to him and petting him. How often I stood at my kitchen window, my heart filling with love for this tiny Ginger creature. And so did hers, she grew up with this Gingers kind heart that taught Alyssa how to care for and love animals. This has made for a 7 year old kid that knows very much about nature, a lot of animals and to have compassion even though she might even not know the true meaning of that word yet.
