I’ve watched videos not even close to being about Stydia but shippers have to cram the one or two Stydia moments in there and cram it down our throats anyway. Come on! I’m not saying Stalia is endgame necessarily but Stydia isn't going to be it. Stiles and Lydia have a strong connection. Duh. But it’s not romantic. Lydia is finally appreciating the wonderful person he is and making up for the years she dogged him. Him being with Malia showed her what Stiles was willing to give. Talking about how Stalia is abusive and they’ve never held hands and all that crap. “But they never said I love you”
First of all: Malia was a werecoyote for 8years of her life. She isn’t going to be refined.
2nd:They are not Scallison. They have to do their own thing. She’s a Hale. They’re a rough breed.
3rd: Stiles finally found a girl that reciprocates his feelings so he wants to keep her safe and not scare her off. He doesn’t want her to leave. Stiles knows she’s not the emotional type and won’t scare her off with the L word. Like I’ve said Stiles could beg her to come back but that method won’t work on a Hale. They need space. That’s how he acts with Derek. As much as he wants to be affectionate and comfort, he won’t approach unless they ask.
In short: Act like us Stalia shippers and just rock back knowing your ship is the right one.
