The problem with trying to write about cryptids in Utah is that there's just a lot of things around here that COULD be considered kind of spooky, but aren't necessarily cryptids. Like it's fun and all, but what am I supposed to do with the compounds out in the hills? Probably what all the rest of us do. Drive by, keep your doors locked, and don't make eye contact with anyone.

I don't know how to make a joke without angering people who prefer to be left alone.
