WEEK ONE DAY SEVEN . . . I think it's pretty easy to forget how lucky we, as Americans, are in times like these. We yell at "the other side," call people names like "snowflake" or "nutjob," and treat others much worse than we would like ourselves to be treated. . . . But today, on memorial Day, it's important to remember that we are SO LUCKY to be able to have different opinions. To be able to live freely. To be able to say such nasty things about each other without fear of death (well maybe social media death but some people need that 😂😂😂) And the reason we can do all of this is because someone else came before us. Someone else laid down their life so that we could have ours. Someone else made the ultimate sacrifice so that I might enjoy today free and happy. . . . And for that we say thank you to all those who fought for our freedom and never came home. And of course a huge thank you to those who still do fight for our freedom every single day.
