{ —-✾ } Pulling herself from her drowsy slumber she heard the soft call - the warm voice dragging her from the stupor of another world. A dream world — a world where she was at total and complete peace. Drawing further away from the warmth beside her in the bed, she burrowed under the covers in blatant disobedience to the murmured words.
Yet as she felt the touch against her skin, the brush of lips over her shoulders — her eyes flew open, suddenly sitting upright clutching the sheet to her chest as she looked down to her hand. And there it was.
A ring.
It hadn’t been a dream.
Turning to look at Graham a groan escaped her lips as she unceremoniously tugged the sheet away from him, wrapping it around her as she scooted off the bed.
"It can be undone right? —I’m not.. I’m not the marrying type. I don’t do — marriage. Besides you can get anyone — I’m just — I’m just…"
A hand went to her head to steady the throbbing ache.
“Graham—”
He was giving her the look again, the one that had gotten them in this trouble to start with.
"Another hour until her bedtime." He spoke like it would take ten years until that would come; a hand tugging at Graham's shirt as though it had done him some personal wrong, but not yet tugging hard enough to pull it off.He was simply restless, impatient.His kiss to the huntsman was almost frenzied, leaning over him on the couch, glancing over his shoulder every so often to glance into the hallway-- make sure a certain little girl did not come pattering into the main room. His other hand had cupped the man's cheek and a grin stole its way onto Jefferson's face when he tugged at Graham's bottom lip with his teeth, then stealing a quick kiss to the line of his jaw--"Hate waiting."
