Sempre passava por aquela rua, visto que era o caminho que fazia para ir até o trabalho. Como sempre, ocupada e atrasada, ela andava correndo naquele lugar, pouco prestando atenção  sobre o que havia ali. Mas, como sempre, teve sua última vez, voltando do trabalho um tanto mais cedo. Sem pressa, andava devagar, olhando para o chão e com os ombros abaixados. Havia sido demitida. 

Enquanto andava, perdida em pensamentos, escutara uma música. A música que ela escutava vez ou outra no mesmo lugar que sempre passava. Daquela vez, não estava com pressa. Apenas sentou-se na beira da fonte que ficava praticamente de frente àquela roda de pessoas que estavam ali, ouvindo a música dele. Ela apoiou-se para trás, olhando para o céu enquanto ouvia a música dele, juntamente com o som da fonte.
