thehiysystem replied to your post “Does anyone know of any sites like ao3 but for original fiction?”
I mean technically you can post your original fiction on ao3
I guess but I don’t feel like it’s meant for that and I’d like to keep the two separate
I felt sick from a vaccine but I still had to go to work.
[Reasons I Dissociated]
"bodies need hands almost as much as they need heads" you realize how creepy that sounds with the whole mind slug rumor you guys have going, don't you?
Jeez, have you heard of metaphors?
Tell me about your OCs
:D you’re too sweet
OK so... these are the horrible children I’m mainly working with for this book
BRIEF BOOK CONTEXT: In this world, fairy tales took place - and are still taking place - inside massive dubiously-intelligent beings that mimic forests and feed off conflict and stories in some way.
Alis lives next to one of the largest and best known - the Grimm one, basically - and her brother vanished into it when they were both very young, so she’s always known she needed to go in after him someday. But she kinda had a flesh-eating witch take a chunk out of her leg when she was younger, plus she’s nonverbal, so she always worried she wouldn’t be able to perform the necessary heroism. Alis is objectively the best person in the cast, even with being perpetually cranky and occasionally ruthless. Treasure her
Bensiabel is a brightly colored asshole Totally Not A Fairy, I’m A Witch who showed up to Alis one day and offered to help her find her brother in exchange for her doing something for him, on account that she’s distantly descended from Snow White. Basically he wants a puppet heir with the right blood so he can take the throne and rule things with minimal fuss. he’s gotten like 4 heirs killed so far and is still trying. never wears anything not brightly colored. actually a fairy, not a witch, but fairies aren’t too popular around Grimm parts (Benny comes from a Lang-style forest) so he tends to keep that under wraps. the worst nb
Hal is the current heir, also super distantly descended from Snow White, and the reason Benny’s previous heirs kept biting the dust. Everyone thinks he’s creepy as fuck because he’s unpredictable and v. violent. probably has something to do with a curse, but nobody knows what it is. the king doesn’t like him so is constantly forcing his captain-of-the-guard boyfriend to babysit him on random tasks around the forest. Hal is constantly getting sidetracked by sleeping with people, except not really because he uses the public perception of himself as scatterbrained and obsessed w/nothing but sex and violence to cover up the revolution against his father he’s plotting. still sleeps with a lot of people, tho. has Secrets
the child-eater is the character it’s most awkward to refer to in casual conversation. basically, yknow all those various creatures - witches, ogres, giants, bandits - who’ll eat children in fairy tales? in this mythos ‘child-eater’ is a category that all sorts of people can be (usually unwillingly) entered into. the Child-Eater has been stuck with the child-eater witch who made him into a child-eater for as long as he can remember, and she’s been refusing to name him, which is No Good because without a name he can’t strike out on his own and idk, make it big in the child-eating world. but seriously, it sucks. so he bumps into Hal one day and Hal volunteers to help kill the witch, which is confusing but CE agrees to it b/c any port in a storm. so he & Hal kill the witch but he still doesn’t have a name, which is dangerous in the forest, so he decides to follow Hal around and try to figure out what is going on with him, which is probably going to take the entire book. he’s got Issues.
There’s a handful of other semimain characters, primarily the king’s captain-of-the-guard boyfriend, Hal’s second-in-command who’s a descendant of the Peerless Beauty, and Alis’s mother Catherine who’s a badass in her own right, but that’s the main gang
also everyone is autistic
Hello! I'm a fictive of Clara Oswald from Doctor Who in an 18 year old body. I'm looking for people I knew in my canon, like Lady Me, Rigsy and anyone who wants to meet me! I'm okay with interacting with pretty much everyone, and I'd actually be very interested in meeting a double of myself. My personal is clararegenerated.
@clararegenerated
Calling all fictives (not fictionkin) that match the above criteria!
I'm disgusted by oatmeal because my abusive mother is obsessed with it and want to improve the world, should I join the Sharing?
Oh, we would love it if you did! You seem like EXACTLY the kind of person The Sharing is looking for.
*pokes* Hi
