I've just finished reading Asunder & The Masked Empire, would you want me to send them on to you? You mentioned wanting to read them. I don't know if it would even work, giving out addresses aside, as I live in the US & my brother says never to send him anything because the country he lives in he probably won't get it reliably because he can't order from here. But I figured I could offer!

AHH that is so kind of you to offer 😭 I am afraid I’m in the same situation as your brother, the mail service here is unreliable at best, my friend has been sending things for years and all that makes it here is the cards, and even those get lost half the time, the other half they take months to arrive, the packages get vandalized or stolen at customs, the last one was sent back to origin with a hole in it and the food inside half eaten, the only package I managed to retrieve was a few years ago after waiting five literal hours in the customs warehouse at the port, so it is...a struggle, and also the reason I can’t buy or sell things online 😩 it is very frustrating, but I appreciate the offer that is so sweet thank you!! ;; 💕

I’m totally fine and I always was. A little confused though. The same people (DPS) who were saying “there’s an active shooter, take shelter” and “all clear” an hour and a half later are also now saying “so there are rumors of an active shooter” and I don’t really know what to make of that? Like, the “rumors” came from them?? They’re the exact ones who told me to take shelter and not leave the building???

Anyway, I’m fine and I love you all *hugs*

That game is impossible to play without breaking someone’s heart, it’s the worst. You think you’re being so careful & honest all along & the characters get so hurt.

Yeah, they get so sad. :(  Plus, I end up frustrated since I tried to avoid this outcome.

In Alistair’s case, it seemed like the romance had been off and was turned on again in the space of a few conversations. Like, I’d had a friendly conversation with him where he was all, “So... you and Leliana, we’ve been talking about you,” and then I went and talked to Leliana and she was at “You and Alistair!!! Why are you leading him on??” and then I got Alistair’s jealousy dialogue when I went back to him. Sigh.

In Zevran’s case, I suppose I had “encouraged” him by not explicitly disapproving of his flirtation earlier. The -20 approval hit I took from saying “we need to end this” seems a bit hefty given Nim’s generally noncommittal responses. In his case, I do need to find a way to get that approval back up to avoid Very Bad Outcomes. I’ve got the Feastday Gifts pack, though, so I’ll use that in a pinch.

I like maxi skirts & don't bike & don't have problems with steps or doors or getting too dirty if I buy dark colors (better to have them cut just off the floor, though). It's a more casual look, though. But the cutouts. You can't even get a cutout to hold shape in a fabric that stretches enough to be that fitted & allow you to walk. They somehow cling to the body, but by definition aren't there. You'd have to have a sheer mesh, which is costume-y. None of it makes sense. It's the worst.

Yeah you are right, if the skirts are an inch off the floor that makes it a lot easier.... I’m tiny so maxi skirts will always drag on the floor for me. I also used to cycle in one and I do NOT recommend it ;)

You’re addressing a really important problem with the cutouts, namely that they won’t hold their shape the way they are, and if reinforced by mesh, that would make them look costume-y (I immediately think of figure skating onesies...) Their designs simply don’t make sense. But that is actually a very, very common problem when fashion designs are done by people who have no idea on how to construct a pattern. It happens a lot in games, where clothes are applied like a second skin to a naked model. Personally, I’ve studied fashion so I know where seams, tucks, darts etc. NEED to go, no matter if they’ll look ‘good’ there or not. Anywhere you have to apply a 2D pattern to a 3D shape, you need a seam... a reason why I got so salty at their take on turian clothes XD
