The hours of my life: Final thoughts

In the beginning, the hours of my life and 1 litres of tears were exactly the same, but throughout they started to become different. Although 1 litre of tears is my favourite between the two, the ending of the hours of my life made up for the parts I skipped. I was really pleased of how it turned out, it was nice to see Megumi's mom finally accepting her daughter wants to be with him. And how Megumi became stronger as a person when she reunited with Takuto. The character I really enjoyed though was the little girl, Takuto's neighbour she always looked up to him even when he couldn't tutor anymore. She was very cute as she wanted to become an engineer to find robotic cures for people who had diseases like Takuto. 

As cliche as it sounds, the drama gave off a good meaning. Too live with a purpose and too not give up even if your beaten down. I think Takuto as a character was great because he changed his family, he allowed his brother to gain a voice of his own, and he gained the attention of his parents and making them proud. Also Shigo, I'm glad he finally gave up. He didn't deserve Megumi even if I didn't really like her character, but it's good how he started supporting Takuto by the end. 

It was nice that the ending didn't have him dying, because usually they do end up dying letting their love ones reflect on their life, like 1 litre of tears. It was good that he continued to live after 3 years and megumi continued to love him no matter what. 

Concluding, I think Miura Haruma did an amazing job as playing this person with a disease, it looks as if he really couldn't move any muscle. It really gave an insight of what some people really have to deal with, and Miura Haruma displayed the emotional and physical side very well. This drama out of 1-10 is a 7 in my books.

The hours of my life: Mid thoughts

I REALLY want to punch Shigeyuki Mukai in the face, he had not right to punch takuto. He was never a true friend because he was always trying to steal away Megumi from the start and never thought about Takuto. The only reason he got her was because Takuto didn't want her to stay by him when he became ill because he didn't want to see her suffer as well, but Shigeyuki had no problem of taking her away, RIGHT AWAY. His only loyal friend is Mamoru that's been with him the whole time, taking care of him even when Megumi wasn't around and the other one wasn't around. It just makes me mad that shigeyuki punched Takuto for a reason so unnecessary. Anyways, I'm happy that Takuto's family is paying attention to him now, it was so annoying before when they knew he was there but treated him as being invisible because he didn't want to be a doctor. But now they are trying to be there as best as possible. 

Megumi's mom, I get why she doesn't want her with takuto, but at the same time she should realize her daughter never loved shigeyuki and her heart was always for takuto. Let the girl be with him for now, because that's all she can do for him, and I really hope she doesn't go back to shigeyuki. She deserves someone better. And takuto's brother, I'm glad he's finally using his voice. Finally speaking about what he truly wants to do and not what the parent's want him to do. It's nice that the parents are going to support him as well, just the whole family situation is coming out nicely. 

Overall, I hope this ends peacefully. Takuto dies, but he is never forgotten. I hope the parents continue to have him in their thoughts and not just forget him like they did when he was alive, the brother successfully gets a career in studying dinosaurs. Megumi, well my ideal scenario is she moves away and starts fresh, continues to work in a take care centre for ASL but be far away from shigeyuki, and shigeyuki can eat poop off a stick. I hope takuto's and megumi's friends get married together, and just a peaceful ending, like 1 Litre of tears.

The hours of my life: Mid-thoughts

It's really said to how Miura Haruma is treated, although it's so similar to 1 litres of tears, the difference is the family situation. In 1 litres of tears the family cares so much about her from the beginning to the end, in the hours of my life, he only started to get recognition from his mother after he tells her about his disease. He's best friend stole the girl of his dreams, even though he ended it, the friend shouldn't have been trying to take her away even when he was with her, he's not a true friend. On the other hand, the other friend is. Always been kind to him from the start. The brother is sad also, even though he acts like such a dick, you know the parents pressure on him is taking over his life. He doesn't want to be a doctor and never had a wish for it, he just grew up thinking he HAD to be one for the parents, and it's sad. Anyways, next episode he sees Megumi in his new state, and the fact that she is marrying the back-stabbing friend just shows she's a mean person. To go for his friend just as a rebound and suddenly going to marry him, she never really likes him anyways, just is using him as a rebound. That also differs from 1 litre of tears, the guy who loved her never stopped loving her, and even cared for her when she died.
