"Well hello, fancy meeting you here, eh?" Jonny said as he turned to face the person that already occupied the room he'd staggered into. Things had been rough for Jonny lately - his mind was all screwed up - and he'd taken to getting drunk and wandering around. Was it a bad idea? Yes. Did Jonny care? Not a bit.
Spencer didn't usually spend his nights out, preferring the solitary quiet of his lab to interacting with the banality of the common folk in The Hub. But tonight he had felt in the mood for some good old people watching as he sat in the low light of the Speakeasy, already well on his way to being drunk.
"One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine--" Wait, something wasn't right. Where was number ten--where was Ethan? "Ethan?" Hannah turned around, looking frantic as all the other children stared at her in confusion. "Where is Ethan? Where did he go?" Looking down the hallway that led from the Atrium, the place of their 'class field trip' for the day, Hannah spotted someone walking towards them as she flagged them down. "I'm missing a child, can you help me find him? Please?"
"I'm just letting you know that I will absolutely destroy you in any competition we come up with. The wager can be one pudding cup unless you're feeling extra stupid and want to lose two."
Usually Johanna was much more composed, but perhaps her hormones were off because today she found herself just absolutely lusting after the brunette in front of her, biting her lip as the girl turned to leave and unaware of the person approaching her.
"Any reason you sat at my table?" Saffron asked, looking the person up and down before taking a bite of her food.
"Um, yeah, I'm sorry. I must have missed the memo that said that you were suppose to talk to me," Saffron said. She organized the folders in her arms, not wasting another glance up at the person.
