(Cameron) fight
Meet the Man | Starters
FIGHT : my muse stops your muse from getting into a physical fight with someone else.
He’s started a few fights in his life. Out of the ones that he initiated, nine times out of ten, he left better off than the other man. It’s undecided what ticked off the pastor more: the rowdy drunk being another vampire or his obvious hunger for Cameron.
Both bothered and sunk deep into Joshua’s skin as he grit his teeth and dissuaded through words dipped in venom to keep the bar and vampires intact. When the drunk rambled on, even snatching Cam’s wrist in his grip with a violent yank, Joshua had it.
The vampire’s gaze hardened and fangs threatened to spill past his firmly pursed lips. He stood up and knocked the chair back with a scrape, “Say that again, please,” he started in a snarled whisper. A foot stepped forward but in that same moment, Cam pried himself from the drunk’s grasp and pressed a hand to Joshua’s chest.
He immediately honed in on the boy’s heartbeat and warmth, grounding himself and the fires that forged within. This spat would have to be dealt with later. Joshua glared at the drunk. A solid minute passed by, until he at last disengaged. He wrapped an arm around Cam, wordlessly leading the human out of the bar and back into the night.
They didn’t need a drink, anyway.
