Chocolate Rendez vous
Morning!
Last night I decided I needed some sugar rush, so I asked my friends if they wanted a late night dessert. And at 9.30 pm, we went out on our late night food hunt for some melting pot of chocolate. I have wanted to come to this place for ages, since I lost my atm card months ago, and saw the poster near the police office. I was so excited that I discovered this new place that I told people about it, before going here myself. Big mistake. The night that I wanted to go with a few friends, we finished late from our karaoke session and cancelled going here. A few weeks later, suddenly someone went to this very secluded cafe which not many know about. Isn't it weird? I actually wrote a whole paragraph about why this was so hurtful, but naahh, i deleted it because people might think I dont like sharing the places I know. Because I ABSOLUTELY LOVE to share:)
Ok, enough about that. lets get back to basics!
So, this small cafe is situated in Jalan Buton, which is situated somewhere here ---> But the thing is, its in between some small houses, so you might as well try using your GPS. Its actually near Jalan Sumatera, where I always go for Sushi Tei or Brussels Spring.
I love the deco, but since the place is small, certain parts of the cafe seem nice, but some parts looked unfinished. The counter gave of a soft feel and the atmosphere is comfy for just hanging out for an hour or two with your friends.
I extremely love red flowers and candles!
So, we sat at the back area, and were the only customers because it was near closing time.
Nas and Fatin with the "monthly issue" and very artistic menu.
The doorway to the cafe.
Me with very weird pics on the wall. :p
June 2011 issue MENU!
This is the fiery chocolate fondue. So, this cost 40k, for only a few slices of banana and mushroom macaroons. So, you burn your dessert up before dipping it into that melting pot of chocolate in the clay beside it.
Oh yeahh, they also serve light appetizers. Not so good. But I was hungry!
I don't remember the name of this dessert!
This is the hot plate ice cream. Ice cream served on hot plate with chocolate fudge under it. 40k.
All in all, I would give this place a 3 star rating, maybe 3.2. Its quite expensive, but the chocolate is quite good.
EverWishYouWereHere? Try the chocolate therapy or hot chocolate! Yummy!!
To longevity~
Had nice dinner at bao~
Heavenly juice, which cost 6500k for a shot...contains apple cider..errkk
Cheers for a longer life
Most of the pao was nearly finished, so we took these... we took lotus, kacang merah, jamur, ham and cheese, and i dont remember..hehe..i liked the one with chicken and mushroom(jamur) best
