A collection of old still life drawings by Theia Lenore.
Hi everyone! These are a collection of still life drawings I did for college classes ranging from October 19th, 2022 (still life drawing of a shoe), November 21st, 2022 (still life drawing on beige paper), December 9th, 2022 (still life drawing on black paper), and April 16th, 2023 (still life drawing on white paper). The shoe drawing was done using pen hatching while the rest were done using charcoal. All but one of the drawings were made by drawing from life objects in my house, while the drawing with books and gaming controllers in it was drawn by referencing a photo I took of objects I had that were arranged for a composition I made.
After looking at some of my old artwork I can see how my drawing skills have improved. I think the still life drawing with the books and gaming controllers in it is the most accurate to life, while the still life drawing of glassware is the most beautiful in my opinion. Overall, I like that these drawings I did for college assignments introduced me to charcoal, since these drawings were the first time I’ve used them for art. :]
