Avida Dollars Groove Studios Sheffield Recording Session May 1992
Saturday 23rd May 1992 Avida Dollars went into Groove Studio’s in Sheffield to record their second demo. The engineer for the session was Anthony Mercer from CusCus. During the session on Saturday afternoon the band recorded four tracks as planned.

At the end of the session Anthony commented that there was still space on the reel to reel tape to record other tracks. The band then went back into the studio and recorded an eleven minute improvised instrumental track.
Untitled
The next day Sunday 24th May 1992 Avida Dollars returned to Groove Studios to mix the tracks Penguin & Freefall. After which the band headed to The Generator Club at the Palais on London Road to play their second Sheffield gig.
Avida Dollars return to Groove Studios on Thursday 28th May 1992 to finished the mixes of the remaining three tracks Gala, Angel & Untitled.
