Two Wolves in the Dark; Moving Slow and Steady || Modern (RP)
{ Jack couldn't help the smile that grew on his face. The familiar thrill of parking blocks away, sneaking through the darkness, avoiding making any noise as to not wake any of the neighbors. His eyes caught sight of the dim light of Violet's room, his breath quickening in the cold night. He hopped over the fence, clumsily but still, ever so quietly. He didn't know why he was nervous, just that his emotions were a swirm, a mess inside himself... He just missed her face, her voice... He missed the feel of her skin against his, the warmth of her soft hands. He climbed the fire ladder and hopped over the railing to the small patio outside Vi's room. His hand was shaking when he reached out to gently tap on the glass, his heart pounding in his ears. He shoved his hands into the pockets of his leather jacket and anxiously waited for her, taking deep breaths. Calm yourself, Jack... You can do this, its just Vi. There's nothing to be afraid of... }

And I'm so far back, I'm at the point in which Meri's muse finally started getting the hots for Celeste's Jack.
I'm chocking I'm laughing so hard.
How the hell did you two get any rp threads done?!
Have you ever wondered what a world without Violet would be like?
I have…
When she first ended up in the hospital… I really thought I’d lost her. Her and I were so close at that point, I thought I had just begun to find my world in her. We’d been so close, we were such good friends and she just became more than that to me… Almost losing her was the hardest thing I’ve ever been through, and I’ve been through a lot of shit.
I had to look at my phone and remember that the girl on my screen saver was laying in a hospital bed having the fight of her life. I had to remind myself that at any moment she could leave me and I would never see her smile, hear her laugh… I would never be there to give her a big hug when she cried, I would never be there to protect her from the douche bags from school… I wouldn’t be able to feel her next to me, her small hand in mine, her oversized sweater keeping her warm when I was just too cold.
She wouldn’t be there at all. I had to deal with that for days. That week I didn’t know if my world was ending or if I would get another chance. I prayed, I screamed to any god that would hear me, in my drunken state I was fucked up yet all I thought about was if death would take me instead, make Violet better. Just don’t let her die.
Imagining a world without Violet, was like imagining a world without Emma.
There would be no world at all for me.
She was the first I found who was special like me, the first I found who understood what it was like… I didn’t want her taken away from me. Not like that…
It still hurts to think that something could happen to her.
CELESTE: I NEED YOUR REPLY TO THE WHOLE MEETING UP AT THE HOSPITAL THING FOR ALOIS
SHANNON: WHERE IS YOUR SIREN REPLY AGAIN
theinvisibilitygame sees me watching.
Helena gazes sadly over the crowd, familiar tears stinging her eyes. She's there, she'd swear.
If only someone would see.
"Help, no one can see me," she murmurs, fisting her hands tightly, and turning sharply to walk away.
She wants to be something.
Not just a figment of a broken imagination.
Not like he'd see me, her heart pangs.
Violet had to admit, this version of her was quite different. It wasn't only the sketchbook or using super powers. She just seemed, well, morbid. Not everything was the same, yet there weren't many differences.
"I remember 8th grade, but I didn't do something like that. I guess that makes you an alternative version of myself. I can't believed you used your powers... I spent those years trying to forget that I had them..." She shrugged and gave her a 'what-you-going-to-do-about-it' look. That was her past, something she knew better than to dwell on.
"An alternative version... interesting, but not unbelievable. Did you did better than I did with Tony, or did that whole relationship start and stop at that one date?"
