There comes a moment when you must realize that regardless of what you have been through, you still have a purpose. We are all beautifully flawed and, at times, wounded creatures doing our best to hide the brokenness that we don't want the world to see. But it is from that broken place that we find our strength and resilience to rise above our pain and continue to persue our purpose. Someone, somewhere needs to hear your story and they need to know that regardless of the obstacles, life will continue and the power of the human spirit is amazing. So if you are feeling sorry for yourself because you think life, or your chance to chase your dreams has passed you by...STOP IT RIGHT NOW! Last year I almost died. 2017 was the worst year of my life but today my smile is bigger than it has ever been because I learned that I am a warrior, I am a survivor and what was sent to kill me catapulted my faith to a supernatural level. Despite my brokenness God has a purpose for my life, my story is meant to encourage someone who needs to know that there is always a way. I defied medical diagnosis and I am better now than I have been in the last 10 years. Broken crayons do indeed still color and I am going to color my life and the lives of all I meet and have access to with grace, love, humility and peace. I am going to use those broken peices to create a mosaic that will catch the eye of the lover of my soul and impart wisdom and a kind word to anyone who needs it. No matter your flaws, failures or shortcomings, beleive in yourself, know who you are and be the change in the world around you. You can and you will...
