I hosted a beautiful wine and cheese party for my mom and two of her best friends last night in preparation for their combined 50th birthday party today. Although the weather forecast does not look that fantastic today I hope at least the rain holds off. Blowing up an exercise ball after arm day is a bad idea. I decided to buy an exercise ball because they are very versatile pieces of workout equipment for a very affordable price (mine was $18) this is the 55cm ball which was recommended for my height. How is it #bbgweek7 already? The last 6 weeks have flown by, and while I have come so far in these weeks, I still have so far to go. Not only do I have the next 6 weeks of this guide, but I still have work to do to stay healthy for the rest of my life I have felt discouraged these past two weeks. It always happens that when I working out, my stomach begins protruding much easier from simple things like drinking water and eating normal amounts of food. I feel like I'm working so hard, yet I look and feel worse than I did when I began working out. It's usually about this time that I quit. NOT THIS TIME!!! Here is your reminder to drink more water! Drinking out of this cute glass that I got in a set for my birthday this week. I was out helping my boyfriend with our deck in the hot sun and while I was drunk king plenty of water, the sun still got to me. A headache hit me and I got really dizzy which isnt that great when your standing on top of a 6 ft tall structure. Last night's dinner: chicken parm, lots of broccoli and a little bit of spaghetti! It was so good!!! Our office had a cookout this afternoon. After plenty of steak and salads and bread I'm bursting at the seams. Probably just making another juice for dinner tonight. It's a new month and a new week. Welcome to #bbgweek6. I was tagged by @skin.fit.jami to share my goals so here are some goals for the week and for the month. August goals: 1. Drink 3 liters of water a day. I've been working towards this a lot more recently and I just need to make sure I'm being consistent about it on weekdays and weekends. 2. Find a way to de-stress and relax daily. I've been having more anxiety recently and it's affecting my eating and my sleep. I'm not sure what it will be, but I'm open to any suggestions. Week 6 goals: 1. Accept that I will be presented with indulgences this week and I need to be okay with it. Today is my birthday, so Im having dinner with my parents tonight and dinner with my boyfriends parents tomorrow night. I'll probably do something with justin later this week too. We have all team members in the office this week and will be having a large bbq for lunch one day. I'm also headed to Fenway on Friday to see a concert. There's no way to avoid indulgences, so instead I need to accept it. 2. Make my mornings productive. I have 3 hours between waking up and leaving for work in the morning.
