The Belgian Eric van Wonterghem started his music career in 1981 with the band "Absolute Body Control" together with Dirk Ivens (Dive). In 1985 they merged with Marc Verhaeghen and Sandy Nijs to form the supergroup "Absolute Controlled Clinical Maniacs", which a short time later was only to be called "The Klinik". Eric later left "The Klinik" and founded the band "Insekt" in 1989 with Mario Vaerewijck. Other projects by Eric van Wonterghem: "BA25+" (1989) "Monolith" (Soloprojekt) "Sonar" (with Dirk Ivens) "Detune-X" (Projekt von Stefano Rossello (":Bahntier//") (@stefano_bahntier) ... He has been running the "PODRAM" studio since 1994, first in Belgium and since the 2000s in Berlin, where Eric has lived for years.
