Okay just - Bail and Padme going back from the moment of their deaths, landing in a time when their younger selves still exist, so they go vigilante/questionable body double and just. Proceed to murder Palpatine’s face, and then clean up the senate and the Sep side of the war. Padme may or may not be flirting with menacing the commander of the Coruscant Guard, and Bail may or may not have picked up a pair of ARC troopers who are entirely gone on him somewhere along the way. They make Grievous cry at least once, and force Dooku to take up day-drinking.

Padmé/Maul/Fox, how much of a disaster is their trashfire-ness gonna be epic and also ruin everyone else's day while they have a blast?

I mean, they are gunning for the Sith Lord and not shy at all about it. Just picture Mace’s headache when a senator and the most decorated officer in the GAR - responsible for all of Coruscant’s security - go missing, then turn up a few weeks later with Darth freaking Maul, ancient Sith weapons and Palpatine’s head on a platter. Whole years are going to be ruined.

There's a door, like she thought. It’s huge, tucked back into the cliff-face until it’s invisible from the ground, but it’s at least three times Padmé’s height, with deep reliefs carved into it that she can just make out through a wrought metal gate that covers it. Sharp, jagged lines cross and recross it, tangle around the relief of a long sword with an intricate hilt, and Padmé catches her breath as she rises, takes a step forward. The pillars on either side of the door sport deep recesses that were likely once covered in glass, and Padmé eyes one, then reaches out.

At the motion of her hand, light kindles, blue-white and burning. Slowly, flickering, the light spreads, ignites other lights within the stone, until the whole doorway is illuminated in the dusk. And then, low, there's a thump, a click of tumblers turning. Perfectly silent, the metal gate swings open, drawn back into the stone, and Padmé smiles.

When she turns back towards the valley, it’s to the sight of Maul and Fox about to get eaten by a dragon.
