SUCCESS COACH TIP: Let's talk about irrational fears, namely mine. 😳 lol So in the committed and serious relationship I'm in, I've noticed that when I bring my things into his house (right down to the huge mega pack of $20 Hefty trash bags 😂) I feel like I need to take inventory or somehow protect my stuff. I've determined that this fear is based on past relationships where I had most of my belongings if not all, taken. From drawn out law suits to my bank account being wiped clean to simple thievery and dishonesty. It seems to be following me where I go. I was in the pantry the other day thinking, "If we break up I need to grab that box of Hefty bags on my way out." (No joke!!) Even if we aren't disagreeing on anything and things are peaches and cream, I do a mental checklist of what's mine. ("That's my favorite spatula and my cozy bath towels are in the cabinet... Be mindful of those...") 👌 ✔️ If you too have irrational fears, take time to ask yourself some poignant questions such as: 1. Has he/she done anything remotely like what I'm fearful of? 2. Has he/she done the things I'm fearful of to others in the past? 3. Have I discussed this with him or her?
