hi okay so i posted a really long, really angry post earlier about Eight and his skin color and Robert Sheehan and everything (which i have deleted) I was really angry because right before that i had seen a post saying that people casting Indian-looking actors as Eight was ‘sick’ (as in disgusting—not cool or whatever).

to anyone that casts Robert Sheehan or any white actor as Eight for anything other than racial reasons:

i am sorry.

so once again, if you cast Robert Sheehan because you like him or because you think he’s the best fit for Eight or because its easier for edits or basically anything other than you not liking the fact that Eight is described to have a dark skin, i am sorry and please forget about that post

Mark James x Nine for Elda

When Nine first met Mark James for the first time, he wasn't in the mood for jokes, instead he looked at him with little trust.

"Isn't this the guy who was an asshole to you in your little human town?" He asked John.

Mark tried to explain he was sorry and he was on their side, but Nine and the others had seen enough betrayal for the year. Heck, for their lifetime.

The first time Nine accepted Mark as part of their group, they had just been training. In pairs. Mark had been put with Nine and even though, they could use weapons, no Legacies were allowed. It was clear who would win and still, Mark put a good fight. He might be new in this fighting for your life thing, but he was no stranger to long training hours and strength. They both ended up on the floor panting and Nine had received a good punch in the eye.

"That was awesome!"

And somehow, a part of him bled when he said those words.

 The first time Nine really talked to Mark James, the latter was sitting next to Sarah's sleeping body. It had been his fault that she was hit during the mog attack and while both Marina and John could heal her (and they did), neither John nor Mark would leave her side. 

Nine came into the room and asked Mark to have a little bit of privacy to talk. Nine hated talking and all that shit but he felt like he should.

"Look, you think it was your fault...but it was actually mine. I left your side to go to..." He let out a sigh. "I thought Marina...She needed help. I thought she did and...Listen, before you came, we lost Eight-"

"I know, sorry."

"No, we barely talk about it, but the thing is, I was being an idiot and when Five was gonna kill me, Eight teleported in front of me and he was stabbed. He and Marina...they were sort of a thing and she was, well, she was really bad because of that, so I try to...eh, I try to make up for what happened by protecting her, I guess." For Lorien, talking was difficult. "So, I ran off thinking she might be next and Eight would never forgive me for that. But she was fine and I realized later what a mistake I had done."

"Hey, we're not weak. Okay, we don't have your advantage with your powers but we aren't helpless. We were fighting just fine. Sarah is amazing at it. I should have seen that blade coming from behind her. I'm too new at this, I need more time so this won't happen again."

"I can help if you want."

Mark gave him a small smile. "I want." And then he offered his hand to shake. Nine shared a smile of his own when he accepted it.

I want a new first movie and to get everything right. That would make us grow more than a second movie.

well if they ever remake the first movie (which I think is pretty unlikely) I don't think Alex will come back... I think he lost hope in all YA movies, the last YA movies he played in, ian4 and beastly, which both "received generally negative reviews from critics", he even declined the role for Jace in City of Bones. Look at how CoB did?

this situation is kind of the same as the Percy Jackson & The Lightning Thief movie, I thought it was SO bad. They strayed really far away from the book, and they made the characters teenagers instead of kids. I really wished they remade the lightning thief, but they corrected their mistake in the sea of monsters, I still don't think it's sufficient, though. I wanted Percy and Annabeth to be played by younger people, and I hope no one hates me for this, I don't like Logan as Percy AT A L L. And Alexandra as Annabeth. I don't think I ever want to watch the sea of monsters. ugh. or any other future PJO movies. I love the book so much that I don't want the movie to ruin anything.
