Teagan: Take a break with a new friend

If anything you’d left this off a bit too long.

Once more you set out towards the mountain like a troll possessed. Just like how it was those sweeps ago, except that now it is fear rather than fury which animates you. You'd barely made it in one piece the first time you embarked on this journey. Tired, freezing, your robes ruined by the elements and a few rough falls even before she tore them from your body. Your husktop broken, all sense of direction lost save for the notion that you had to ascend.

Now, the route is familiar to you. You know which paths to take, which rocks are stable and which will move underfoot, which passages are liable to throw you down with the wind that blows through them. And having made the trip several times by now, you no longer choke on the altitude as hard as you had at first. You desperately hope that it is enough to get you to her in time.

There is no pause to rest. Your fearful imagination runs wild, playing out every dreadful end that could have befallen her on loop. Even when forced to stop and catch your breath, guilt grabs at you and drives you forward.

You reach the summit in nearly half the normal time, body exhausted and mind burning. Oh, she would have a field day if she saw you now and it all was nothing. A power outage, an unannounced vacation. You would never live it down. But paranoia is a terrifyingly strong motivator, and you have to be sure. You fall against her door and hoarsly cry out.

"VEEkOh!”

What kind of help you need/looking for?

i guess just ideas, idk fgjkghfg

like i have the species for the bug pretty much figured out from some minor cultural and history stuff, to way too deep into like how their internal organs work, but im not happy with the outside look of them

and then the weasel snakes i dont have a lot for besides they are, well, weasel snakes. They are flexible, run fastest on all fours, have heat sensing pits on their faces, and are completely carnivorous. And with Yuvot personally there, I wanna tweak his marking a bit too

so like im mostly looking for ideas for look changes, but also any kind of ideas really for the weasel snakes
