I’m actually surprised who first came to mind – Idrilla Tabris. I’d kinda pegged her as an only Zev kinda gal, but Thelrand is… difficult to resist.

Since I didn’t want to mess up the main setup of the meme, here’s the notes I wanted to put in, in order:

[long hair on guys – huge thing for Idrilla, so… he’d have to get used to her wanting to touch it a lot. Braiding, brushing, touching… :3]

[I feel like he’d be the one to take her out to a bar &/ club and she wouldn’t want to at first but he’d make it fun]

[I wish I could say maybe for the sex on the first date thing– because it really depends on her emotional state. xD She’s prone to thank-you-for-my-life sex, so if something went really wrong, things could go that way fairly quickly. xDDD]

[you almost have to pry that out of her like a bad tooth– but she’s really obvious if she likes someone. Does things for them, gets them gifts, ‘keeps an eye out for them’ etc. She just can’t spit it out in words]

[she’d LOVE to have kids, but that would be up to Thelrand in the end]

Misc:She would be enamored with his vallaslin and want to learn as much about elven/Dalish culture as she could. She wouldn’t bother him if he didn’t want to show her/teach her, but she’d learn it elsewhere so she could feel closer to him and his people.

She’s also a chill person almost exclusively, so she’d be a good rock for Thelrand (unless something legitimately terrible happens to her or someone she cares about – in which case she loses touch with her empathy and needs to be held back if you don’t want the cause of the pain ‘dealt with’ permanently).

Plus, she could be an interesting sparring partner for him, being very much a rogue. She could help him better defend against that kind of combat, and he return the favor. It’d form part of a solid friendship, I think, to start with.

I also think it’d be a really cool character arc for her to be her normal ‘no-I-must-hide-my-ears’ self out of habit but everything else is very much her uniqueness and he just calls her out about her embarrassment over her heritage.

I also think he and Venna would have been an interesting combo too. (She’s canonically with The Iron Bull atm). So… have an extra! Very different in some ways, not so different in others.

I see these two as the sassy/snarky elven warriors (though Venna is a mage, she’s a knight-enchanter fairly quickly after becoming Inquisitor and very much enjoys being on the front lines with people) that everyone keeps an eye on ‘cause they’re not sure if they’re going to mess with them or just do something really friggin’ cool.

Also, as I kinda hinted before, they’d be quite a force if they worked together in battle. Plus, if Thelrand wanted to simply knock people out, that’s easier to do with magic than with blades and Venna would appreciate the sentiment of keeping kills low if necessary.

And don’t even get me started on the high sex drive. Baby, a match made in heaven. ;P
