mel  medarda  has  returned  from  noxus.  piltover  is  familiar  in  an  almost  comforting  way,  even  after  everything  that  happened  here.  the  city  and  its  people  are  recovering,  and  the  havoc  that  her  mother  wreaked  upon  its  streets  it  but  a  distant  lingering  memory.  piltover  is  ready  for  a  fresh  start  and  so  is  mel. 

she  feels  ready  to  meet  the  new  councilours,  to  stand  in  that  room.  to  see  the  new  change,  to  watch  what  piltover  can  become  next.  her  steps — fast-paced  but  sure — echo  through  the  corridors.  as  she  reaches  for  the  door  handle  to  enter,  the  door  opens  from  the  other  side.  mel  side-steps,  avoiding  the  collision  but  then  she  freezes.  that  woman  who  is  standing  in  front  of  her is . . . ❝sevika?❞  mel  breathes  out,  raising  her  head  so  she  can  look  her  in  the  face  better,  hazel  eyes  meeting  grey  ones,  as  their  breaths  mingle.
