chip didn’t have a family. and then he did. but then it was ripped from him. and then he had another, but then they made him kill, so he ran from them. he has lizzie back now, but a lot has happened in ten years. he has jay and gillion, now, though.

gillion had his parents and his sister edyn. but then his parents abandoned him. and as time went on, he had edyn less and less. then he was banished. and now, even though they’re in contact again, he can still rarely talk with her in person. he has chip and jay, now, though.

jay had her family. but her dad wasn’t around much, and he was awful when he was. then her uncle drey sailed off and stopped keeping touch. then her sister was killed, and she left her mother to go find answers about it. then she stood up to her father and turned her back on the navy. she has drey back now, but a lot has happened in ten years. she has chip and gillion, now, though.

the three of them all have such poor histories with family, but they found one in each other.
