#i hate going on tiktok bc every time someone posts anything remotely related to spanish or being mexican#there’s abt at least half the comments pertaining to the fact that someone isn’t mexican or latine bc they do this or they don’t do this#and it’s so silly but my whole life has been one big debate abt what i am and i seeing that makes me so angry#like why must you tell people theyre white passing (especially when they’re not) or tell them it’s their fault their parents didn’t teach#them spanish#it’s so disheartening to see bc i’ve struggled my entire life with my cultural identity#and it’s so stupid that these people are so hellbent on gatekeeping people’s own culture from them like that#like fuck off yanno
