hey remember faye's brother bc i do and i love him. do they have a close relationship? do they keep in touch?

          ALEX MARKOWITZ, THE LOVE OF MY LIFE!!!!! yes, he’s perfect, i adore him more than anything. he’s three years older than faye, and faye is very close to him, and they’re both pretty much prodigies in academics, which makes the markowitz family incredibly successful. they’re both really quick and smart, and get along incredibly well.

          faye loves him very much, and talks to him as often as she can, as alex attends college in holland for history and language studies. he’s very protective of faye, as is evidenced by her lack of proper boyfriends in her life when she was young. faye used to go to his baseball matches, and he in turn would go to her academic decathllon matches and stuff. it was a really sweet siblingship.

          of course, they have their downsides, as faye’s often felt overprotected and wants to live her life without her brother breathing down her neck over tiny things like hanging out with boys, and she feels like he has a very skewed perception on how well she’s able to handle herself, which he’s trying to get over but he can’t really, because she’s always going to be his little sister in his heart.
