One year after Quentin returns, Julia throws him a welcome home party. Eliot finds a way to reconnect with Quentin, even from across another realm.

This is a long and angsty one, but with a happy ending, I promise.

There is a lot of discussion about Quentin’s mental health in here, with some vague references to implied suicide. Please take care of yourselves.

SPOILER ALERT: I got the idea for this story based on the Black Mirror episode “Striking Vipers”. The only thing I borrowed from the ep was the basic premise, which you can get from the episode description, but I wanted to be careful if anyone wanted to remain completely un-spoiled about the episode.
