OKAYOKAYOKAYOKAY!!!! I'M SOOOOOOOO EXCITED!!!!! BECAUSE WHAT DO YOU MEAN WE'RE GETTING 7 NEW CHARACTERS THAT ARE THE COUNTERS OF OUR 7 BOYS?! I'M SCREAMING!!!!!! (for good and bad reasons. I'm happy but also very mad the EN server is still not up to date dispite ending book 7 back in like dec. (ーー;))

My takes on who they are below ♡ ( don't wanna spoil it for anyone who doesn't want to see. I hate spoilers too) Long read so buckle up!

So we've seen these, love them!!!! I can't wait to see all of them in game, but I wanna put my two cents in before the actual reveal!! d=(^o^)=b

First up for Riddle's counter is clearly Alice!!! (My favorite Disney movie of all time! Me and @the-scouts-codex knew this movie word from word as babies)

Not much to say but the iconic curtsy is a dead giveaway!!!! XD Also, Look how small he is!!! lolol He's Riddle sized (σ≧▽≦)σ Also me and @the-scouts-codex headcanon his name to be Allison!

Next up for the finest man, Leona, is someone who I don't wanna believe is Nala for multiple reasons but can't figure out who else it could be.

The main issue is Nala is supposed to marry Simba, who is Cheka, which would definitely secure the throne for him, buuuuuut Cheka is like 4. f(^ー^; And Nala and Simba being best friends to lovers, and around the same age in the movie, would make her a small child. And yeah, I know a lot of their ages don't track, like Reille would technically be Azul's Nephew, and much younger, and or every single character based off an adult but is one, but come on. Nala would have to be like 4. (　:ﾟ皿ﾟ)

Soooooo I went through a whole bunch of TLK 2 characters, but the thing is, Scar isn't even ALIVE in the movie. ┐('～`;)┌. So if you don't know, Zira (top right) is the mother of Nuka, Vitani, and Kovu, (mid right, bottom left, and mid bottom) who is rumored to be Scar's wife/baby momma (not confirmed) wants to avenge Scar's name by sending her kids (mainly Kovu) to kill Simba and his pride. There's a musical number on this called My Lullaby. But Kovu "betrays" his mother by falling in love with Kiara, Simba's daughter, and helps Simba and her stop his mother. Vitani also "betrays" her mother as she loses faith in her daughter. Nuka is the only who's stays and becomes a secondary villian with a huge "but I'm the oldest" complex with Kovu, but dies trying to impress his mother by attacking and failing to kill Simba. But all of that too would make no sense as all of these characters are villains originally!!!! (Don't be too hard on me, I used a synopsis on the official wiki as I've haven't seen this movie in like a bazillion years)

With Nala, I get that she's counted as the 2nd main character, and she finds and urges Simba to take back the throne, and also helps fight during the final battle, but a counter to Leona? ( -_・)? And using that ideology, Timone and Pumba would fit that spot as of TLK 1 1/2. (　ﾟ 3ﾟ) The only way I could see this as Nala is from the TLK musical when Scar comes onto older Nala (which is creepy) and there's even a musical number for it called "The Madness of King Scar" (@_@;) idk this one is creepy to me.

Next for our lovely Azul's is of course Rielle!!!!

Again, not much to say but I've been waiting to see Rielle since Book 2 when Azul mentioned that he went to school with him in the Coral Sea. I just hope we get to see or get a reference to his potential 6 brothers and maybe see a Flounder-like best friend! p(^-^)q (Run little fishie, the twins are coming for you (´ﾟдﾟ｀) )

Also, I love that cameo of Ariel brushing her hair with a fork by putting that fork in his hair!!!! (*≧∀≦*)

Next up for Jamil of course we'd get Jasmine!!!!!

So the hair is a dead giveaway!!!!! But Ahhhhh his eyes are soooo pretty!!! Me and @the-scouts-codex have had a headcanon for a while that his name would be Jasper and Kalim’s extended family/cousin!!!! Please let his name be Jasper!!! (｡-人-｡)

So I've seen people before all of this say Aladdin, but Jasmine was who Jafar wanted as it gave him a direct seat in power. He saw her a prize, a trophy. But he hated them, hence why he was hypnotizing the Sultan (as we find that Jamil does to Kalim in Book 4) to make him allow him marry his daughter. To rise up from servant to become Sultan of Agraba. Aladdin was just a interference as he was poor and had no power or influence, but it bit Jafar in the butt as Aladdin ended up getting the lamp and the Genie's help to aid Jasmine in foiling Jafar's plans. (； ・`д・´)

But Aladdin and Jasmine could also be mixed as Yana does.

Next who we have for Vil is NOT Neige BUT Prince Florian!!!!!

I was originally thinking it was Neige in his Dorm Specific, but that hat points to Florian. Also, Prince Florian is the one who actually kills The Evil Queen, or Queen Grimhilde, in the movie. So I could see why this would be him. (；￣Д￣)？

Also it couldn't be Neige as we've already seen him and all of these characters are new (of course (゜∀。))

For my beloved Idia it could be 2 people, Hercules or Megara! (@_@;)

I could see why everyone was saying Megara because Hercules isn't that small, (THEY TWINKIFIED HERCULES (*ﾟ∀ﾟ)) and I've seen some "Male Megara" fanarts before. Also the hair kinda matches, but Meg really wasn't the turning point character in the movie, dispite her really giving Hades a run for his money. But to counter my claim, could I interest you in:

Twiggy Hercules?! (゜∀。)

His clothes match up now, and so does his size. Now my theory is that both the Jupiters and Shrouds are cursed. Hercules in this case is stuck as that skinny wimp and his UNIQUE MAGIC MAKES HIM BIG AND BUFF!!!! HE GOSE FROM ZERO TO HERO LOLOLOL (σ≧▽≦)σ

That being said, they could be mixed yet again.

Lastly we have Malleus, which was a bit tricky for me, but I've concluded that this is either a magical, twst version of Prince Phillip or an actual character of the three faries.

So I'm really going with the three faires as look at the hats, the wands, the capes. It's like a mixture of all three. (・。・; But that stumps me as in Diasomnia Lilia is seen to be all the fairies, but also as the red one itself. Sebek is seen to be the green fairy but also Malleus' lighting itself. (Yana mixing characters yet again. The others would be, Ruggie (him being all three Hyena but mainly Shenzie Marie), Cater, Trey, and Deuce (all being card soldiers yet being the March Hare, the Mad Hatter, and the White Rabbit.)

Then we have Silver, he's a tricky one. He is seen to being the blue fairy but also to be Aurora. But in Book 7, he also takes the place of Prince Phillip as he's the one who slays that evil dragon (Malleus/Maleficent) with an enchanted sword.

That brings my theory back to the three faires. They were a blessing to Aurora, to protect her, so it makes sense for the to be on the "good" side, but they also helped by enchanting Prince Phillip's sword. And because of the story itself, and theories of the "light magic trio" (Silver, Rook, and Kalim) actually belonging to RSA, Silver's supposed protector is that character, the fairy, but he never was saved and now Silver is Malleus' protector in NRC.

That being said, maybe really it is a magical, souped up version of Prince Phillip. (ノ｀Д´)ノ彡┻━┻

My thoughts on today's LADS announcement. I just need to vent about this. (My thoughts, my experiences, my understanding.)

Every once in a while, I'll post about games other than Twst, and this time is one of them. Needless to say, I'm very, very, distraught and angry.

And then the people who caused this have the nerve to act surpised, saying they didn't ask for this, asking what happened. YOU HAPPEND! THAT’S WHAT! I'm so disappointed, so fustrated, but at the same time, not surprised.

It's not a shocker that once again these overseas companies take sides, because at the end of the day, that's what it is. Mihoyo does it, Netease does it with IDV, Infold has also done it with their other games like Infinity Nikki and QLC. Like at this point, why even release global versions if yall really don't care for us? Because clearly you care for our dollars, but not enough to keep us happy to keep receiving them.

So many fans were looking forward to Valko's release and to wake and see that not only did they cancel his drop, but the pulled his cosplayer from AX and then confirmed that they will not be releasing any more characters. To where does any of this equate to the issues we've addressed?

Not only is it unfair to the players that they hyped for Valko's drop,(they protested false advertising before, no, this is) but the team that worked on him. How will they be compensated for all their time and effort? The money lost? What about the VAs for Valko? And the AX cosplayer? What about the band that played during the livestream? They all just lost a gig at the drop of a hat. What about the fans who brought AX tickets for the cosplayer? How do the get their money back? And all of this for what? Because people had opinions? That's no way to run a company.

And this is by means to ignore or undermine the state of the game. Roll currency is so low that you almost always have to open your wallet to even secure one card. (Twst is abysmal! It doesn't even have dailies) There are banners dropped back to back, to the point you're just hoping it's not one of your faves or a rerun so you can save. I get it. But I also can't ignore that companies will always prioritize money, especially Gacha games, they are the literal definition of money grabs.

And with the lack of main story content, I have a few takes on that. One starting with that I feel the plot is about to be so broken and empty now. The devs claimed they'd been working on Valko's character and story since the beginning and if that's true, how do you fix 3 years worth of plot around him? And another thing, he's supposed to counter Raf. So what now? He's just gonna have to be incomplete? We're gonna lose so much.

The next take, and i know it's gonna be a hot one for a lot of yall, but I feel the lack of bond stories for Caleb and Sylus, and the lack of MS content have to do with the release of Caleb. And why you may ask? Because I believe he was rushed to placate the CN server when they were hating on Sylus. And my reasoning for that is how he dropped in like February instead of July like how Sylus did and how Valko was supposed to. This threw off all their plans, and hence why the two of them are so far behind.

My next issue comes with the hate circling around the character. How can you judge his entire plot when the guy only had a 3 min trailer?! And to me, all the things they are claiming are baseless! Like if we could work through Sylus and Caleb despite their hate, why not Valko? Why is this time so much different? Why are the others with their flaws allowed to exist but Valko has to canceled?

Caleb's forbidden love trope is centered around pseudo incest, he literally locks MC in the attic as kids to keep her to himself, and multiple other times in other situations. He talks about putting a bell on her so he'd know where she was and when she's leave. It has also been said that sedated her. That's fine for them right?

Zayn, Caleb's counter, is another forbidden love trope and it's the doctor/patient relationship, which is a professional misconduct and goes against many ethical codes.

Sylus I like to argue about if he really kidnapped MC, because he did intercept whoever had MC in the back of the truck initially, which I like to think was a better outcome for MC, but he did try to force a resonance with MC. But many have argued that it was him trying to see if their pact was there from their past lives, but take that with a grain of salt. But that too was okay, right?

But Valko being a stalker? With what evidence? Hasn't it been said that Xavier and Rafayel have been pinned to be stalkers before? Breaking and entering? The scene clips in the video, so how do we know if he just "broke in?" MC is also very strong and very smart. I'm pretty sure she could do something if she really didn’t want him there. Also all the guys except Zayn (i think) have made themselves at home in MCs house before, Xavi using the balcony as well. MC has even scolded him for it because the neighbors were concerned. All of that's okay, but Valko isn't?

And don't get me started on the blatant racism and homophobia. Again, which I'm also not surprised about. (Natasha doll anyone?) Valko and Sylus being too dark. That they if they wanted an "African" game they should have released it in Africa with their skin color. Bruh where? Be so for real. I wouldn’t even call them tan! They aren't even the color of paper bags! Saying that Valko was "clearly" dropped for gay men (deragatory) and "fat American cow women"!C'mon now! This was okay?!

Then you have the allegations that Valko and Sylus were made for the western audience. Again, with what evidence? And even if they were, that means CN has 4 made for them. But I guess getting 2 is too much for the devs to be catering to us. Apparently, we should have even less guys!

Then you have the fact that game has always pointed to 6 guys. Like the "coming soon" in the game, the stellectrum colors, (red and gold) and the elemental system and the fact that metal was missing. How about how the age 26 being missing? The blatant comparisons and counters between each of the pairs? I could go on.

This is devastating. I hate Caleb but I'm not harassing the devs or players over it. I just don't pull or interact with him. I haven't even read his MS chapter. If I can do this, they are very capable of doing the same. This isn't going to fix the state of the game, nor the very problematic things they've done, (the femmicide/WWII references but I'm not educated enough to talk about it in full) if anything, it made it worse. It shows that hate will overtake love. (I hear the their government got involved. Yikes)

Why was it okay to send days of hate, to send literal piles of poop to the company and its workers, to send the funeral wreaths, and to send death threats to the company, threatening to off themselves, telling others to off themselves, is not going too far, not the sadness, the anger for this is? Why are our voices being silenced? Why are we being punished?

And I'm not defending anyone here, because clearly all three parties have some fault, but this is plain wrong. If those who are so upset about his drop couldn’t ignore him, why don't they just uninstall? Why does everyone else have to suffer for someone else's inability to cope?

I think there's still time to undo things. Just drop him, (maybe even making him an EN exclusive?) and continue with working on the story all the same. They were doing it before, they can do it again. Up the rewards for players, give us more ways to get diamonds, and drop a PC version or find a way to clean up space. Other than that, I feel there are a million better things that could have fixed this than what happened today.

I hope yall are happy, Infold, haters. Yall used the unreleased character for a means to an end and nothing changed. Valko is gone, but the MS magically didn't appear before your eyes, and the chocolate shop wasn't updated. Currency is still low, Infold never apologized to anyone they offended, and there are no bond stories. Hope you all are happy. (I hope you lose all of your 50/50)

Man, I fee like things are getting worse and worse. Was gonna add this to my previous postbut it would have been too long. (My thoughts, my experiences, my understanding)

So there's this statement going around from a Chinese player, and I feel almost every statement coming from thier side is more incriminating than the last! Like, this is not to hate on this person in particular or any of the Chinese player base who actually didn't cause any trouble, but we all know at this point at lot of players on their side did not help the situation at all! So let's get into it.

Starting with their first point, Abandoning their existing players. As an OG player who's fave was originally Rafayel (still is but he now shares that space with Sylus) I don’t feel abandoned at all! Every LI and player deserves to be seen! I feel once again that this Fandom is full of people who've never played an gacha/otome/any game for that matter before LADS! One; it's all a cash grab as this game is a gacha game! Two; companies will always choose revenue! (I don't think it's right but what can we do? Someone will always buy into it) And I've already stated how I feel Caleb's drop early last year pushed back content and how Valko's drop would have fixed this issue, but now he's gone.

Their next point under this to me just makes me wanna laugh and then sigh in exasperation. You're saying they're mischaraterizing thier characters because what now?! Sylus is in an apron?! Are you joking?! Guys is it weak, too feminine, and gay to wear an apron? Because I really feel this just confirms their homophobia issues and issues with the guys being seen as feminine when they're "soft" with MC (and then they complain that Sylus and Valko are too rough). Since Sylus' OG card we knew he could cook. So why is it bad that he wants to wear an apron? Do you know what an aprons purpose is? To y'know, keep your clothes clean and to hold utensils? C'mon man.

Then then make a rant about carrots! I mean, I can see both sides of this, but just because he hates carrots doesn't mean he can't cook them! He's not allergic to them! And how do we know he was eating them? Maybe it was for MC? Or maybe it was a little joke on the devs part, knowing Zayne hates carrots and maybe to see if we are paying attention to those details.

Their last comment about this point goes into the MS. Now i agree, the MS is lacking but from what I understood, the Myths were a part of their guys own stories and backgrounds with MC. Like they distantconnections. (This is not saying that they don't influence the characters or the game/story all together) And I honestly don't think they're just going with what's trending, I see them as different universes and different time lines, but I will also agree the OG 3 are the only one's who's Myth stories are cohesive. (Raf especially) And the different themes do confuse me.

Their next point, the murder promotion. I have mixed feelings about this. Now I can't speak for other people, especially the Chinese players and people, but I honestly think that rule and line was talking about the kitchen addition to the home feature. I have no idea other than what I've read about the case, and I don’t know if that line was portrayed in a way for the Chinese player base to see it as a link, but I honestly can't see it myself. Is it weird, yes. But I'm not gonna say if it was of wasn't intentional. I've also read that other Chinese player (they were red note screenshots) that they too didn't think they were linked. Again take the with a grain of salt.

Their next point, Romanticized violence against women. THE HOTTEST TAKE EVER!! Lemme get this straight, they say that there a saying over there about "letting wolves in" that basically means letting an uninvited guest or predatory person (man) into your home, which romanticizes violence against women, but the other 5 and their accusations exist? (Mainly Caleb for me) I saw this as letter chaos into her house, which it then cuts to him messing with her pillows and then her block tower. I've even saw comments about how Valko sniffing her and scenting her was assault.

Everyone else and their stalking tendencies, their violence, their possessiveness, their kidnappings is okay, but we draw the line here? An uninvited guest isn't always bad, like when your grandparents, in-laws, or that one nosy lady from your church just stops by and now you have to entertain them.

And also, we in America have many different sayings about wolves too, "a wolf in sheep's clothing", "Throw me to the wolves and I'll return leading the pack", and titles like "the lone wolf". Like if they said MC "entered the wolf's den!" My mind doesn't automatically scream she's gonna get assaulted or something. I see it as a dangerous or chaotic situation. But MC is a capable woman, and in thay very same trailer, she beats Valko! Also, saying that he trespassed and broke in, again, Xavi uses the balcony often and in the trailer, he legit asks, "may I come in?". Was that not enough? Also, they would know each other at this point!

Next point made, the historical events used as plot. Now this isn't may favorite topic because I feel do feel you kinda walk on a fine line when using real life historical events for plot. If you don't do it right, you will almost always offend someone. (I hate the Titanic for this reason)

Like look at JAXX's recent and discontinued manhua/web comic. As a black woman, I was deeply offended. To me (my opinion) it wouldn't have been so bad if they hadn't centered their plot around slavery. They could have kept their cowboy romance, and I actually liked, from what I read that, the cowboy (forgot his name) was indigenous. But to have the american, war hero guy mistakenly call his worker slaves when they were free peoples wasn’t okay. To depict them with no faces like they (black people) were unimportant and nothing was not okay. And the last line of the chapter was the kicker. Like absolutely not. (The last school we desegragated was in 2016, black, brown, and indigenous peoples still face discrimination about our hair)

Again, I'm not Chinese and I will not speak for them, and I'm not dismissing the pain, the violence, and the impact this has had, but Xavier's plot also has the 731 references. So why are we just hearing about it now during Valko's release? Why are they pinning it to Valko and not Xavier as well? Did they they all just collectively ignore it then, but banded together now? And I'm not siding with Infold but for all of them to do this at this time just doesn’t add up.

Their next point, the BL pandering. Like they say that they are okay with it over there, even mentioning MDZS and TGCF (I'm a big fan as well) but what about the other Danmei creators getting arrested for it? What about your blatant censorship laws (calling Wei Wuxian and Lan Wanji "friends")? What about the CN girls says things like Sylus and Valko being made for gay men? Or trying to cancel Raf's summer card last year for being too feminine for bing held by MC? What about NTE not dropping the quality time/date feature upon drop for the male characters for this exact reason?

And I for one haven't seen the bunny/wolf tags and even if I saw them or if Infold did endorse them, who cares? It's not like they're gonna make MC a man. (Not that I'm against BLs or gay romances) And also, this is not the first time the CN server has pushed Infold the affirm these things. Is this a thing to really be upset about?

I'm sorry, but what? Cash grab and not a real character? How fast do you think they're able to make a character? It's def not quick enough to see Silent Whispers and then drop a wolf of their own in only a couple of months. Talking about not looking like an actual character, not looking like the rest, when people def said he looked like a Sylus and Caleb mix. And what if the things overlap? The moon motif for Xavier? I always thought it was the stars/space all together. The moon is also connected to the tides, and so what if his name also means Dragon, that doesn't change he fact he's a wolf. Also, a name change is a small if if it was that bad.

But now I must rant! ALARIK?! Do you mean THERON?! AND CHOCOLATE-SKINNED?! Are we dead serious?! I'm I wouldn’t be surprised if Alarik was "chocolate-skinned" for them. I mean, look at what they were posting and about Valko! They even said the same when Sylus dropped. Saying that they're too dark, and the game should be relased in Africa. And I also had the same question when I first saw Theron. "How are yall gonna survive Theron if Sylus and Valko were too much for yall?"

And stop using food for black and brown people. It's insensitive, it's insulting. I can't stand hearing chocolate, coffee, toffee, caramel, and even peanut butter! Get creative, this is old, well over used, and racist. (Not gonna get into why.)

And those are "paid bots?" Sounds like yall are running away from accountability just as Infold is. I know it's not all of them but c'mon. IDV has issues around this, Mihoyo is notorious for their issue around this! Infinity Nikki has had issues around this topic! And once again, the Natasha Doll. Colorism and racism is a very real issue over there as it is here. I'm not gonna sit here and believe these were paid bots when I see and hear it every day.

Let's be real, alot of the hate started when Valko's 43 sec trailer dropped. Way before the 3 min one. Saying he dropped with controversies couldn’t be farther from the truth. These "controversies" came with your displeasure, and LADS even tried in the beginning to soothe tensions by confirming a lot of the things said (the rumors that started with the 43 sec trailer) were untrue.

Again, small issues being addressed like the color usage, and again with the paid actors to divide the Fandom. What a bout the 2nd birthday for Raf when people got banned for writing death threats in the messages we could leave for him? What about the parasocial crazies who think liking more than one is actual cheating to the point that they hate every other LI and the fans who like them? Also, what about the hate black/brown EN fans were getting when complained about how horrible the lighting was for darker skinned MCs and CN laughed and hurled slurs? What about when we were called brain dead for now knowing what was going on? What about all the hate right now coming from the CN players saying we deserved this and if we want a wolf so bad to "go in the woods and find one"? Were those bots too?

Yes, we need to help each other, but CN need to take accountability. This was nothing but a bunch of finger pointing and "woe is me". You may not have been a part of those issues, but it doesn't change the fact yall can act out like yall did and get what you want and then blame someone else. Be so for real.

Also, the game is at 1.3 stars on the app store and 937k on IG.

Oooooonnnneeeee tiiiiiiiiiny little detail that I'm a liiiiiittle annoyed about, and I'm pretty sure this has been said before but, I'm a little sad that they didn't use their OB voices for the cards. Like i get it, it's just a game. I have way more important things to worry about in life, but it hurts you know? The trust is gone. The fun has been robbed. I'm just thinking of all the time and money I spent since day one that I will never get back, but also don't regret. I'm not surprised, but it still hurts. Maybe they can fix things, I'll be giving them until the 9th. But they'd really have to pull all the stops to regain my trust. And if they don't, it was fun while it lasted.
