@gallacrafts theme 31 – garden crafts ♡
Few days late to @gallacrafts but I give you the proctor of Ian's plants from caterpillars.
While Ian tends to his lovely tomato plants, Mickey is silently going behind him fending off the Tomato Hornworms who threaten his husband's harvest.
Are you ready for the big reveal? Did your guesses come to fruition?
Gallacrafts, Theme 31 is...
🌱🍅Garden Crafts (Tomato Boy)🍅🌱
this is a tomato boy stan blog now 🍅 but dw we'll still accept offerings of any garden variety 🌱 is it a painted birdhouse on the west side? maybe ian's getting his hands dirty in the gallagher back yard! making hoeing and planting jokes with his husband? perhaps our dear sweet tomato boy does not in fact have a green thumb, but he tries real hard anyway! maybe your creative mind is more fertile than ours and you take this theme to branch off in a whole other direction!
Posting day for Theme 31 is next Sunday, March 24th.
As always don't forget to tag @gallacrafts and use the tags #Gallacrafts #Theme 31 and #garden crafts.
Ian Scarecrow and Mickey Crow for @gallacrafts Theme 31: Garden Crafts
Okay, this was utterly ridiculous. Finished it about 20 minutes ago, after working on it for 7 days hahaha But here we go!
Hope you enjoy.
Way too many in progress pictures behind the cut, in case you're interested in the hot glue madness that has been going on in my bedroom these last 6 days...
Gallacrafts: Theme #31
🌱🍅 Garden Crafts (Tomato Boy) 🍅🌱
I just think Mickey saw this shirt in a thrift store somewhere and absolutely had to get it for his husband. It’s versatile- great for gardening on a warm day, perfect for a trip to that pretentious farmers market Ian likes so much.
… a first try at drawing :) …

Grauen Theme 31 by @eossa
This theme was originally released for Halloween 2020 with the concept of the “horror of wrongness” (see post describing that concept here). I have long since wanted to improve this theme, so when I updated it to full NPF support, I decided to revamp its design as well.
I used colors which I would normally stay away from (magenta, cyan, chartreuse) to challenge myself regarding color palettes and used CSS transformations to skew layout elements in a way that makes the whole thing “feel wrong”. Hopefully, I could do the original concept justice.
Anyways, the main features of this theme are its single column header layout, dark mode, full support for NPF and legacy posts, and the optional skewed layout. There's a live preview, a static preview focusing on NPF posts, and a static preview showcasing the skewed layout.
If you need more information on this theme and how to customize it, please read the guide I wrote.

In March - to celebrate the beginning of Spring - we asked you to grab your hoes, get your hands dirty, drop to your knees, dig deep, and plant your seed…
Yeah, seemingly Mickey Milkovich wrote this announcement, but never mind that! You sure delivered some of the tastiest produce we have ever seen!!
Thank you @tsuga-of-mars @mickittotheman @darlingian @michellemisfit @deedala @swiftfootedachilles @energievie @blue-disco-lights @doshiart @creepkinginc @deathclassic for sharing your GARDEN CRAFTS creations with us!
(It’s downright hilarious how often Ian takes his top off in your garden Gallacrafts! HAHAHA)
Click the ‘Theme 31’ tag to see all the creations in their full grown glory and leave some love at each artist’s individual little fandom garden 🌱
It's Teaser Sunday loves!
We went a little sparingly with this one, just enough to plant the seeds 🌱 of creativity
Let those ideas germinate this week and see what takes root after the reveal! ✨
