we truly cannot believe we've made it this far or that Gallacrafts is winding down. Last month was our final theme Anything Goes, a chance to take a walk down memory lane and revisit any of your favorite themes or those you missed. And boy did you all absolutely come through! Did C’MERE happen before you joined the Shameless fandom? Did you work really hard on your EMT IAN craft but just didn’t quite finish in time? Did you think of the perfect KING OF THE SOUTH SIDE craft, a week after posting?

Now is your moment!

Your craft can be based on any of the past themes. And as usual posting will be on the third Sunday of the month. However, in the spirit of OH MY GOSH I CAN’T BELIEVE GALLACRAFTS IS OVER!!! we’ll keep the party going a little bit longer, while giving you all the time you need! My first contribution for @gallacrafts!

As a new member of the Shameless fandom, I have been endlessly impressed with how active this fandom is even years after the show has ended. I know that is because of awesome fan projects like this! I am here to express my love for fandom community and of course, Mickey Milkovich. 🖤

Gallacrafts | Anything Goes

My first ever submission for @gallacrafts!

I have been planning on making this for a while, and I finally got an excuse to do it!

This is a sculpture I made out of Sculpey modeling clay over the course of many, many hours. I've never actually sculpted anything before, so this was a labor of love! I'm not totally thrilled with the results, but I don't think it came out too bad for my first ever sculpture.

It's loosely based on Michaelangelo's Pieta, with Mickey as Mary and Ian as (gay) Jesus.

I'm never sculpting anything ever again lmfao. Tiny sample of a process video under the cut so you can see how tedious this was (and how soft the clay was!)

Goodbye Gallacrafts 🥹

I couldn't let the last Gallacrafts pass by without marking it! So I pulled out my polymer clay again this weekend, crafting a bright & bold rainbow Gallacrafts sign. Then I accidentally burnt the shit out of it curing it in my new oven because I didn't understand how powerful that mofo is 🤦🏻‍♀️

BUT THE CRAFT MUST GO ON! Turns out I don't hate the (how do I put this) caramelized version of my last craft too much after all 🤣🤣🤣

THANK YOU @gallacrafts 🫡 I love you I love you always.

I also went through my gallacrafts tag basically crying because of how beautiful everything you all made was and how much I still love this community. Here are my faves of the things I made over the years:

I don't think I've been as proud of anything as I was of my Rooster Mug eggcup in that first year 🤣 I hope you all share some of your own faves today as well!

I want to thank Rhys, Leah, Cherry, and Michelle for being the best mods ever and keeping the fandom thriving and growing over the years. I loved my time working with you and am so proud of my time as an admin. @smokey-mickey @whatwouldmickeydo @too-schoolforcool @michellemisfit ❤️

Gallacrafts Theme 48: Anything Goes

For the @gallacrafts theme Big Fic Energy, this is a diamond painting* based on the chapter 11 art for my story Out of Nowhere.

I hoped to get this completed before today, but it's taking way more hours than expected. 😝

*Diamond painting is like paint-by-numbers, except instead of paint you glue little gems in place to make the picture. Is it satisfying to run your hand over? Yes, yes it is.

Anything Goes: Freckles

Mickey loves exploring Ian’s body. Finding patterns in his freckles that only he notices. Finding the smiley face pattern on his husband’s left arm and tracing it with his fingers.

(Below cut is the smile of you can’t see it. )

I tried so hard to get a good picture of my arm lol. Hopefully my contortion was worth it. I love my smiley freckles. Fun fact kids used to make fun of my freckles in elementary school but my mom said they were angel kisses. I told my classmates that important fact and got a loud “ew!” In response.

I’m sure Mickey loves Ian’s angel kisses.

Tried my best to embroider this very iconic scene onto a shirt! This was my first time ever trying to do embroidery so I'm pretty happy with it! Next time I will do more research and less fucking around and finding out lol

Thank you for encouraging people to pursue their creativity. Every month I enjoyed seeing what amazing things people would come up with. I'm going to miss it, but I hope people will continue to create art ♥
