Term coined by @itsminty247:
"A term for perisex folk whose secondary sex characteristics/dynamic does not meet expectations regarding secondary sex/dynamics. This label is independent of one's experiences as a perisex person."

Rut: A cyclically occurring spike in alpha hormones, lasting for anywhere from a few days to a week.
Primary symptoms include: increased libido, desire to impregnate humans or other alternates, and desire to build a den or nest.
Secondary symptoms may also occur, such as: dominant behavior, sadistic behavior, isolation, wandering, territoral behavior, and loss of appetite.
Tertiary symptoms are experienced in all cycles, and include: aggression, irritability, moodiness, short temper, mood swings, increased parental instincts, temperature fluctuations, and cramps.
Heat: A cyclically occurring spike in omega hormones, lasting for anywhere from a few days to a week.
Primary symptoms include: increased libido, desire to be impregnated by humans or other alternates, and desire to brood or nest.
Secondary symptoms may also occur, such as: submissive behavior, masochistic behavior, neediness, lethargy, melancholy, agoraphobia, and increased appetite.
Tertiary symptoms are include: aggression, irritability, moodiness, short temper, mood swings, increased parental instincts, temperature fluctuations, and cramps.
Hex: A sympathetic reaction a beta has towards a mated pair in its pack.
Symptoms include: increased affection, social behavior, desire to make/organize a haunt, and desire to take care of the mated pair.
Circuits (for rut) and rhythms (for heat): also known as non-cyclical heats/ruts or sympathetic heats/ruts. Experienced by betas, often in reaction to an alpha/omega experiencing rut/heat. Circuits/rhythms have fewer secondary effects and last for shorter periods of time.
Spectral heat/rut/hex: experienced by mixed sigma dynamics, in which the sigma experiences secondary and tertiary symptoms of a heat/rut/hex, but no primary symptoms.
Pande/Pandemonial cycle: In which one experiences multiple cycles, whether it be simultaneously or in fluctuation. They may be erratic, unpredictable, and inconsistent.
