So, Tony lets Bucky stay at his new Stark Mansion he rebuilt in Malibu so the soldier could relax from everyone else(Tony gets it, he really does).
A bar/club he always went to have a theme night every Tuesdays(one can also dress up if they can). A particular theme night was 1910s-1940s era so, Tony, being the giver that he is, decides that it would be a good thing Bucky to go to. He asks, Bucky says yes, excellent.
Buck finds a clothes bag with a note after taking a shower, on the note was Tony’s handwriting.
“Apparently, dad had this for all these years and never gave it away? Must have been Peggy’s idea, thinking Cap would be found and they would give it to him. Who knows.”
Bucky takes the clothes out and, to his shock, it was his old military formal uniform, complete with his hat. He took no time to get dressed in it, putting all his hair in the cap and put on a pair of gloves(to hide his shiny hand) and walk down the stairs where he finds Tony in 1942 blue jeans, a wide collar shirt, two toned shoes and a sports coat. Damn Tony looks good in 1940s clothes.
At the club, they include drinks and food from that era and they order a drink for each and some food until they were done and Bucky grabs Tony, bringing him out onto the dance floor and Bucky just starts to swing dance with Tony.
Tony does not what the hell he’s doing but he’s trying.
They go back, order another drink, drink and just talk, also ordering more food.
When the night starts to wind down for them, a song that Bucky came on recognized which was a slow song.
After a split second decision, he grabbed Tony, bring him back out to the dance floor, a hand on Tony’s hip, other arm clasped with Tony and Tony’s other hand on his shoulder.
As they danced, it slowly started to dawn on Bucky that he was falling for this asshole(that can be adorably soft) in his arms.
He finds himself not minding and actually quite likes that thought.
