I don’t know why it’s so funny to me that Caleb Covington has theme nights at the Hollywood Ghost Club.. guess eternity might get a bit dull if you don’t mix up the entertainment regularly.

joon was about to get his planner that he left somewhere on the coffee table and it was kinda late at night and he was just all snug on the separate guesthouse for him

but he can’t sleep in peace knowing that some of his things are missing and especially his planner

the door by the patio is always unlocked in case he wants to come in to the main house

but then he saw jimin by the refrigerator getting some chocolate pudding for a midnight snack and he froze like a deer because o-oh

but then jimin was like WHAT when namjoon just brushed past him and said good night

this should’ve been the part that namjoon gently scolds him like what you and jin and kook do!!!! because pudding gives him a lil bad tummy ache since it’s too sweet and too late into the night

one night, jimin wanted to watch a movie but then kook passed because he is too tired and then jin was spent bc he tried out jungkook’s workout as a dare and so that’s why he’s sleeping it out

jimin’s knocking on namjoon’s guesthouse in his pajamas and he’s holding out a bag of chips and he asks very politely and timidly

“hey joon.,...,. u wanna watch this movie with me.,..,.. do u wanna sleep in the main house instead.,..,.,. there’s a lot of spare rooms.,....,. if you want.,.,..,”

I seen that friends with benefits concept and what would the first morning after be like between them?? Like they were such close friends and they just had “meaningless sex” (but we all know they would end up falling for each other or at least H forming some feelings) but what if they felt comfortable enough to let the other spend the night each time after and that’s where they realize they are messing up because feelings come into play after a while.You they would end up cuddling in their sleep

because you guys wake up the next morning all nervous because, what if it really was meaningless sex??? And now things are gonna be awkward because both of you don’t wanna ruin a good thing. 

But it’s not, and the both of you carry on in the same dynamic as you usually would and it’s like such a relief. And the sex was life altering. literally he thinks about it all day for weeks until it’s like a thirst he needs quenched so he just calls you and the both of you just… need it.

“Just sex,” he’d breath, your hands working the belt of his pants, “s’the’ alright?”

“Yeah,” you breath, tugging his pants off, “fine with me.”

It’s like an addiction and eventually it becomes a routine for the both of you because what the fuck, it’s so good and who knew someone could fuck you THAT GOOD??? And you’re hooked it’s like a drug and you literally can’t ever get enough.

And one night it’s 3 am and he’s about to get his clothes on and head home after like, the fourth round of sex, but he keeps the other side of the end warm and what difference does it make if he spends the night? Next to you in bed? Just as a friend tho. 

And he doesn’t even think twice about spooning your naked body because why does it matter when he was just balls deep inside you 15 minutes ago?? 

But after awhile the booty calls get later and later and he’s spending the night at your place, or you at his, more and more frequently. And eventually he wakes up one day away for something music related, expecting to see your hair strewn on the pillow next to his and he doesn’t. And he’s FUCKING SAD abOut IT? 

And you do the same, feeling kinda weird without his arm lazily thrown over your torso, and the other side of the bed is frigid and neatly made up and then like, 

you both realize that functioning and starting your day off without the other sleeping next to you is weird now and that this has spun into something more than just sex????

I CANT BELIEVE I DID THIS.

Stay Tuned for Danger

I’m back at it again! This week we’ve got Nancy Drew Number Two. Stay Tuned for Danger takes place in New York, so I got myself a pizza (spinach & feta with mushrooms, Brooklyn style, ayy) I also got a box of chocolates due to a certain poisoned snack package Rick Arlen receives. Finally, because idk I associate soap operas with tinsel and glamor I got a nice sparkling non-alcholic rose. I don’t really drink when I play these games because I find them headpoundingly challenging even when I’m stone cold sober.

Anywho, ACTION! :p

2.    Stay Tuned for Danger

Yes, I’m ranking this game a solid 5/10. That may change as I play more games and have more to compare it to BUT—even though that really sounds very low I’d like to preface that I did find this game pleasant. I liked it a helluva lot better than Secrets Can Kill, anyway.

Let’s start with the bad this time. As others have said, the game is temperamental. Narrative progression rests on your responsibility to click on every. single. thing. It’s moreso an issue because the game regularly presents you with spreads of items all stacked on one another, with no indication that you are supposed to gingerly comb your curser over every last bit of the screen so you can get a glimpse of all nineteen of Lillian’s anger management notes. I swear I had to sneak back into Dwayne Powers’ office at least seven times because I’d forgotten to click on the fortune cookie and the French love letter dictionary (lol what) and god knows how many inane newspapers. In the walkthrough I had to use, one of the instructions actually said to carefully click on a piece of paper because it was so well concealed, and you know what? It took me three tries to successfully click it.

Similar to the previous game in the series, STFD sometimes suffers from frustrating level design and controls. Nancy has not yet leveled up her ability to turn a complete 360 degrees, so you’re gonna spend a lot of your sleuthing walking backwards down hallways and stairs. If you want to turn left at the casting director’s door, sorry bucko. You’re gonna have to spin right allll the way around.

However, there are good things here! We have a brilliantly dotty cast of fun and fresh characters. Bless Millie Strathorn—I hope someday I too can spend my days holed up in a closet full of actual garbage writing bad fanfiction and writing secret coded messages to…myself? Haven’t we all left office at the end of the day and thought, “Maybe I should take the fucking doorknob off to make sure nobody goes snooping through my things?”

The mystery itself rests on some real rising tension. The game starts with barbie humanoid Mattie Jensen casually describing some toxic fan letters her costar has been getting, and things ramp up until Nancy is later breaking into buildings and disarming bombs. The setting of WWB has a personality to it, rather than just being some generic tv studio. The bits with the voiceover taxi drivers could’ve maybe used some variety (and also yikes! at that wAcKy Indian driver voice), but the bit didn’t get annoying in the way you’d expect. Hearing some imposter voicing your boyfriend was a bit jarring, but the phone conversations are a step up from the previous game.

There’s a lot to like here. I feel like if you’ve already played it and know the gist with the puzzles and progression, it would be a cozy little play. I would replay this—and I have really pretty much zero interest in replaying SCK ever again, so that’s something.

5/10 if you’ve never played it, I’d wholeheartedly recommend ❤️
