Random thoughts

Sometimes it is the little things that can make you feel better. Things as simple as a phone call or I love you, or how was your day can help turn your mood around. 

I am stupid and sappy and I love talking with people about nonsense. My biggest fear is drifting apart from the people I love.

Literally the last person on Earth I'd want to debate semantics over then. He survived Auschwitz, he can say whatever the fffffffffuck he wants.

Exactly what I’m saying- Love and hate both involve some measure of it and to be entirely opposite of a strong, involved feeling like love, you’d have to not care at all.

Like, you're right, but I still think that's still a tiny bit of gymnastics, semantically, which is why I like to pick on this one specific line from a feel-good pop song. 

Because love and indifference ARE diametrically opposed, like you said, but I dunno if you could say they're on the same binary, like love and hate are. 

It's all semantics. XD

I’d actually say that makes sense- most would say the opposite of love is hate but if you want to go diametrically opposite, indifference is more accurate because when you hate, there is still care given, though negative. Indifference is a total lack

Ah, however, by that same logic, the opposite of love still can't be indifference because caring in and of itself is a neutral concept. You have to attach either love or hate to it.

The thing is, I would like to go to Boston Comic Con, but like NC Comic Con, the emphasis seems to be on comics and not science fiction, which I suppose is valid enough.

There's not much in the events schedule that interests me, apart from Fables, Female Creators, and the Hobbit Q&A panel with Aiden Turner and Dean O'Gorman. I also understand that everything had to be cancelled and moved because of the Boston bombings in the spring, so this con might not offer as much as it could.

I did meet themegaloo at NC Comic Con, and that was fantastic, so maybe I'll give it a shot.
