This place has it all: - Great shopping from each of the countries - Entertainment, from regional performances, to large scale shows on the main stage - Food stands and restaurants - Amusement park for kids - Fireworks! (only on the weekends, I believe) You can spend 6-8 hours here, easily! I would even say it's worth spending two evenings here, if you want to spread out your says a bit. Tips: - Wear comfortable shoes! There's a lot of walking to be done - It's easy to leave this place with a lot of bags (Shopping, food, etc). Come with a back pack, or a rolling bag. I'm not sure if you are allowed back in once you leave. Also, depending on where you park, you may not want to come back in. - Check the weather. We went the first week of March and it was really chilly at night! Luckily, a lot of the countries represented sold jackets and sweaters, but they can be pricey. - Bring earplugs for young children. We visited with my 6 week old daughter. She's still at the age where babies sleep all the time, through most noise, so we were good. I can see how older children may be disturbed with the heavy base from some of the shows. Bring ear plugs so they can sleep while you walk around! Again, I would rate this in the top 5 of things to do in Dubai. As well as something you can continuously come back to!
