Instead of continually writing a billion cover letters and submitting resume after resume, I am going to break it up and habitually contribute to this blog, so that I can curate a concrete and visible entity in order to at least… feel… like I’m making some sort of progress in some kind of capacity.
Every time I send off a job application I feel like I am sending a $100 bill to the sidewalk in Times Square, hoping that when I return five hours later it will still be there and if not, that the few people I question regarding whether they had seen it might magically make it resurface.
I feel like that is an extremely horrible example, but that’s o.k.
