Happy Birthday | Veth and Yeza
Veth’s shoulders lifted and wiggled a little, playful, as Yeza kissed her cheek. She gently elbowed him as his lips moved to her neck with a soft giggle and gave him his own kiss to his cheek. She often wondered how she had gotten so lucky, to find Yeza.
“Oh, sit down, sit down. Breakfast is nearly done.” Veth moved back to the stove, moving the last of the flapjacks onto another plate. She set it infront of her husband, blueberries making a smiley face in the pancake.
“One, two, threefourfive!” Luke counted out, then picked up the last one, “Six!” and popped it in his mouth.
“Good job, baby.” Veth tickled Luke’s cheek, sending him into giggles. “He read his own bedtime book last night. He’s so very smart… Just like his papa.”
“Very good.” Yeza agreed, digging into his own meal, listening to his wife. He was glad to have her, he loved her and she was so strong and smart. It was others peoples loss if they couldn’t see that, and he hoped to eventually be able to help her see that she was wonderful as well.
He reached over and held her hand, taking a moment to finish swallowing what he was eating before he spoke, “Just like his mama, as well. I’m not the only one able to brew a potion, after all.” he smiled, giving her hand a little squeeze and a kiss.
“What plans do we have today, my dear?”
