Precious Darling,

                           I hope you’re doing alright up there in the North. Winter certainly is your favorite season so I know you’re having a blast with the piles of white snow, and I hope to be joining you soon enough, I’m able to visit next weekend. I’m so happy and proud of you though, for managing so much! You’re growing up so fast already, my goodness you need to stop that! You’re going to end up growing taller than me if you keep doing so. Make sure not to eat too much maple syrup though, because if your eating habits are anything like mine, which I bet they are, your sweet tooth may be a bit overbearing. Though I’m sure your nanny isn’t letting you eat too many sweet, under my instructions, so don’t be too upset! But you always had a way of melting people’s hearts and getting what you wanted when you were determined enough. Anyway, I’m sorry to keep these short. I love you Mattie, keep warm.

"A--Alfred, slow down!  I'm sure her house isn't going anywhere!"

Matthew's words were of no use, however, as his brother continued to run at breakneck speed toward Amy's house.  The Canadian's stout legs struggled to keep up with his brother's just slightly longer ones, hence the plea for them to slow down.

"I know, I know!" Alfred replied hastily, brushing off the request as if it were a speck of dust on his shirt.  "But I'm too excited to slow down!  Amy said she'd spend the whole day with us!  We can go to the beach and a playground and get ice cream and watch movies and--"

Alfred continued his list of things he wanted them to do as they approached the familiar house.  The little Nation swung the front door open and barged into the house, dragging his brother behind him.

"A--Alfred, that's not very polite!  We should at least knock first--"

"Amy!  AAAAAAAAAAAAAmy!  Guess who's here!"
