can we go beyond the decker/ilia & kirk/spock parallels? like decker and kirk bonding over their so's being emotionally distant and physically present in a way that hurts a lot. and ilia and spock contemplating their strangely captivating humans. idk there's more but yeah.

sciles au: somehow angels & demons can mark people before they're born. this helps them find them and possess them later on in life. once the mark develops (during puberty, in early 20s, etc) they're deemed ready for possession. only stiles' demon mark attracted the fox and scott has been marked with both (rare but happens). idk i'm freestyling.

let's not forget that dean was able to apologize for gadreel's murder of kevin on the grounds that his actions had indirect but negative effects on kevin. but he can't find it in himself to apologize for the negative AND direct effects that his actions had on sam. like that really sets up this space in which dean finds kevin more worthy of respect than sam and really has me on your side when questioning whether dean loves sam or loves to own/control sam. tl;dr you have my sword.

yes yes thank you! i commented on that during my watch that he’d rather apologize to coffee-machine-ghost Kevin that to even try to understand and feel bad about the shit he put Sam through. His reason of course is at least Sam is alive.

Keep your sword so we can use them against hordes of victim-blaming haters. Sam needs all the support he can get, cause he’s certainly not gonna get it in-universe

(re: sam as slytherin post) sam personifies slytherin to me because between him and dean he's usually the scapegoat; people overlook the good in him to focus on the bad; and his decisions are always under question because he's constantly under question. meanwhile, dean personifies gryffindor to me because people see him as incapable of doing wrong even when he's doing wrong; between him and sam he's usually the model child; and he has a tendency toward riding the high horse.

That is a really interesting take on how to sort the boys! However, I look more closely to the traits that each House is supposed to possess rather than how others perceive them. BUT if this is how you'd go about sorting, I can totally seen why you'd see them this way.
