“What am I supposed to do with this?” Lewis gestures, throwing his arms out wide, “what, you just tell me that you’re quitting, and thats it?”

“That’s it.”

Nico rubs at his eyes, pinches the bridge of his nose. He feels like he hasn’t gotten a full nights sleep in months— and yet knows he has, has plotted it down to the minute, the second. 

“But—“ Lewis sounds confused, helpless. Nico thinks faintly, that he hadn’t expected this much of a reaction, “—but you just won.”

“Yes,” Nico slips his hands into his pockets and slides his eyes away from Lewis’— feels flayed raw under his searching gaze, “I won.”

jinnie .  he  didn’t  expect  his  heart  to  swell  the  way  that  it  did  when  she  said  that ,  but  here  they  are .  not  even  his  mother  had  resorted  to  such  nicknames ,  &  his  heart  stretches  happily  in  his  chest .  but  it’d  be  hard  to  tell  from  his  face ,  which  lights  up  with  only  the  smallest  of  smiles .    ❝  --  thanks .  ❞  

yuna’s  dorm  is  a  familiar  place  by  now .  it  smells  like  girls  &  it’s  its  own  brand  of  organized ,  but  it’s  welcome  nonetheless .  he  drops  his  bag  at  the  foot  of  her  bed  before  dropping  himself  on  her  bed .  his  eyes  drift  to  her  desk  chair ,  which  has  a  very  familiar  leather  jacket  draped  over  it .
